I AM old, 9 years active duty 15 years in the reserves as a loadmaster out of March (728th/729th) until they retired my beloved 141. I got my "9" level doing that and retired from the reserves as an E-8. Perhaps we met at the club or operations.

I can't find a single F-35 "Crash" only one cat 5 where one recently burned on the pad but I think that was either Tyndal or Luke. I do recall the F-22 going down at Edwards a few years ago killing the company pilot.

The funny thing is that depending who you talk to, the Jug is nearly as fast as the warthog. But the range sucks with the jug. Gas hogs to the tea.

I would like to see those two in a mock dog fight. That would be fun to see.

I agree that it has accelerated.

I supposed there some truth in that perception. There is the Three Angel’s Message in Revelation though. It’s been a while since I read it, so there may be more context than I am remembering.

You may be one to something with your thought. I see it as sin finally being totally revealed, man being shown that he is incapable of leading decently sin being the pernicious thing that it is.

Now it’s time to allow the raving full effects of sin to be seen. There will be no doubt in anyone’s mind how evil sin ultimately is.

Wasn’t exactly an aircraft failure, unless one thinks of it from the viewpoint of a weapon with wings attached.

Don't forget about our DRONE UAVs, Combat UAVs, and if we arm a Space Station, or have Armed Satellites (rail weapons); then your Biblical References might become clearer.
Take a serious look at the Apache Helicopter (which is a "hanger queen", too) also in reference to some of those verses.
And consider nuclear weapons and the clean-up after their use in light of the "End of the Matter" .

Were you there during the Somolia Relef Mission, when the Control Tower was having the asbestos removed and a wrap around console installed ?
I had to work that whole mission from the "chicken Coop" on top of the Command Post Building on the north end of the ramp, with my controllers, with back-up radios and one multi-line phone.
They did get the D-BRITE working over there, and the got us a temporary Crash Phone installed, and our Ramp Net and Crash NET radios were portable and had to stay on chargers.
Seems like we worked out of that "Chicken Coop" for about 8 months, and a lot of the ramp around the Aero-Clup parking was under renovations due to the fuel pumping lines having to be renovated.
That was definitely "LESS than ideal conditions", and March AFB didn't get any cooler.
Our window-unit air conditioner wasn't very helpful, except between midnight until about 11:00 am local on the mid shift, and early day shifts.
But the rest of the time, it was HOT !

Where’s the foam?

Why did they not foam the runway? I thought gear up landing with foam was SOP.
