Polls close at 8 p.m. ET in Alabama’s special election primaries, held to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions when he left Congress to become President Trump’s attorney general. Political observers predict that whoever wins the GOP primary in the deeply conservative state will ultimately win the general election, so the Republican race is seen as the more important contest.

78%. Moore’s lead drops to 7.7%. I noticed they changed Mobile from Strange to Moore then back to Strange.

Is McConnell and Trump willing to spend another 6 or 7 million
in a State that will go GOP or use that money to oust a sitting RAT
Senator somewhere else in the country?

Conservative votes(Moore & Brooks) are crushing Strange votes tonight.

80% now counted.

Moore’s lead drops to 7%. Strange making up a lot but still too far to go.

I will say Montgomery still not counted and I think it is Strange stronghold.

“Luther Strangelove” is no friend of President Trump, just another McConnell man who will trash the POTUS first chance he gets after the election is over.

Just what we need, another basher. I hope Moore can beat him in the run-off.

Shouldn’t be any more money spent there. Moore now >Strange & Pittman combined. If Brooks voters just split 50/50, Moore wins easily, crushes D easily.

That is good news to me as I support Moore. That pretty much means it is all over for now.

The dems are the real story tonight.

Christians voted 10 Commandment Moore despite Trump's strange endorsement for Strange(which is exactly what I would have done because I will be forever grateful to Moore for his courage) and conservatives decided Brooks did more good in the House instead of another election to fill a spot.

But guys, with all the emotions and full blast press against Trump and all those Nazi republicans dems supposed to be having the momentum only a little more than a third of dems show up to the polls compared to Republicans. Tonight was a total rejection of tearing down the US the way the left has decided to.

Alabama has open primaries. Strange might need Dems for a decent showing.

Yep, that is what I was thinking.

Anyone who voted in today’s ‘RAT primary cannot vote in the September Republican runoff (per a new Alabama law passed earlier this year). The McConnell Establishment types will try to pull a “Mississippi” and get ‘RAT voters who did not vote today to come out and vote for Strange in the September runoff.

Hate to tell you but the same law applied in Mississippi yet GOPe pushed ineligible voters to polls. Their attitude, prove it.

And when McDaniel went to prove it, a Barbour GOPe judge shut him down.
