I agree they should pay for the damage they caused. These statues cost thousands/tens of thousands of dollars. What is destroying property that is valued that much called? If they were stealing it, it would be called grand theft, but what is damage in that amount called? Plus, those statues are over 100 years old. The anarchists can’t repair that.

Absolutely—I'm a NC resident, and these people destroyed my property by destroying this statue. Lest anyone think this was a group of mostly aggrieved black people—look at the film footage and you will see a group of fat, ugly, borderline-retarded, white mutants allowed to have a temper tantrum with no adult stepping in.

We all need to re-read the history of the Chinese Cultural Revolution to see the dangers we are facing here. Without an overarching moral code the human race quickly recedes into degradation and lawlessness.

They are destroying more than a physical thing. They are destroying the heart, soul and heritage of the country.And the law stands around sucking their thumbs.
