There no longer exists a reasonable social consensus in america. Can a pro life conservative really break bread with a baby killing liberal? Can a heterosexual family man really have anything in common with a child molesting homosexual? etc, etc The divisions are real and will only get worse.

What's perplexing is how many whites are happy to sit in the back, shut up, and speak only when they are apologizing for being white. You'd think the Democrat Party would be relegated to a regional party for that reason alone, but it's not happening - not at least that I can see.
White guilt and ever changing demographics are the only hope they have, and our government schools, along with colleges and universities, are enthusiastically doing their part.
Black on white hate crime is ignored. Whites have no where near that kill rate. So the racists we should be talking about are the Black ones.
They intend to use this event in Charlottesville as a catalyst to remove all Confederate monuments.
When they are done with that they will move on to some other aspect of American history.
Anyone resisting the erasure of history will be tarred as a racist white supremacist.
Everyone who is not behind Antifa, BLM and the rest must be racists, bigots, sexists, homophobes, Islamophobes, etc.
No defense of American history, values, culture or way of life will be tolerated.
Why is there no investigation of both ANTIFA and BLM by the DOJ?
Identity politics, like the race card, is a useful tool. As long as they think it is working, they won’t stop using it. Then, there is the scorched earth and politics of personal destruction.
They have a bag of tools and they are not afraid to use them.
Look for angry backlash to happen.
