I know this has everyone wound up, but you need to remember:

We're going to have to grit our teeth while the Enemy engages in these smears, but these smears will not be effective.
Given all the evidence of the utter failure of the Media to wield the power they have historically had—but which has now been irretrievably lost—I'm surprised that more around here keep falling back into the belief that the Propaganda Media is finally going to succeed "this time".
They aren't. They've been exposed as frauds, and there's no putting the toothpaste back in the tube. The Media will remain frauds in perpetuity, until such time as someone else is running it.
Stop ascribing power to the Media that they no longer have! Don't accept their talking points: point out the fact that they remain fraudulent, and are trying to sow division among decent people. Did nobody watch the election season last year? They tried the same thing. Endlessly. It didn't work.
The REAL issue here is DENYING others' freedom of speech rights. Doesn't matter what a group believes, they are entitled to EXPRESS THEIR OPINIONS REGARDLESS OF EXTREMES. If Team Soros had ALLOWED the nationalists to march or PEACEFULLY ASSEMBLE, the violence would not have happened.

One way to combat this tired scene is for extremist groups to get permits to march ALL THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, THEN CANCEL. CANCEL, CANCEL, CANCEL. This will force the Soros buses to scramble throughout the country then disband. They will soon tire of the false starts and lose their momentum.
The citizens of Charlottesville are the ones who have the right to decide what to do with the statue. It’d be a diiferant matter if the statue is on federal property.

I think you are correct on that point. The election of Trump symbolized the outing of the media as nothing more than a political arm of the DemonRat party. Failure of Lynch and Comey to prosecute Hillary AND THE MEDIA PROTECTING HER also played heavily in Trump’s victory. The media’s constant attempts to FRAME OUR REALITY AND ESTABLISH FAKE NARRATIVES no longer works. Trump’s election symbolizes this.

Once they graduate, they’re gone, so they are not really citizens of Charlottesville.
Years ago, I lived in Santa Barbara, California. It used to drive me nuts when college kids at the University of California at Santa Barbara were allowed to vote in local elections, but most of them were not from Santa Barbara and high-tailed it out of there once they graduated. But the liberal politicians and policies they voted for remained.

I once ran a red light at a major intersection because some very bad dudes WANTED MY B*TCHIN' CAR. The trouble began long before in a parking lot where a group of inner city thugs walked towards me in my vehicle when I immediately pulled out. I COULD SENSE SOMETHING BAD WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN so I drove right through them regardless whether they got out of the way or not. They then ran back towards their car, got in and started to chase me, I recognized their car behind me. I ran a red light AND THEY STOPPED AT THE RED LIGHT WHICH INDICATED TO ME THEY COULDN'T RISK GETTING CITED BECAUSE OF THEIR RECORDS, THEY WERE ARMED OR CARRYING DRUGS.
I got away with my life. That car NEVER let me down. I was prepared but I would NEVER run a red light, EVER, but I did that night because I knew I HAD TO OR ELSE.. The guy in the Dodge Challenger was thinking the same thing.

I’ve been shaking my head for the past three days. I don’t get/understand any of it. The one group protesting the removal of Robert E. Lee’s statue from a city park had a permit for a rally. Who invited the counter protesters? Were members of the original group with a permit causing any problem? Did the counter protesters have a permit? If not, why weren’t they thrown out of the area? Oh! - Freedom of Speech, right? WITHOUT A PERMIT?
Why can’t we just deal with the simple story? WHY did the news find the need to LABEL the original protesters? WHY didn’t they put the emphasis on the reason they were there? Did they go to cause trouble? Who were they going to cause trouble with if they were the only ones there?
If the reason for the rally is true, they didn’t want the statue of Robert E. Lee torn down. I don’t either and in spite of where I live now, I grew up in Yankee territory....
For every Confederate statue torn down because of any government’s actions, one statue of civil rights leaders has to go also..along with every street named after them in this country. Erase history - erase ALL OF IT!
Everyone here knows the answers to my questions - the troublemakers in this country can be ready to go at the drop of a hat or transportation from any place in the nation to a place that doesn’t need their interference!
Why did Trump feel the need to placate the complainers and come out a few minutes ago to place labels on the people who had the permit to hold the rally? They are remarking on FOX how great he covered his faux pas from over the weekend. HOW? By further labeling people?
The city was full of idiots that day. We can all agree on that. BUT as others here have said, why don’t we hear this about the driver running his car into the crowd - “We don’t know what his motive was.” That person has been named as being part of the ORIGINAL PROTEST GROUP (who had the permit)...
Had he been part of the counter protesters, how soon would we have heard that news?
