Now, edit the full name of the settlement at Plimoth.
Those snowflakes were terrified seeing that and had to be coaxed out of their safe places after being told it was covered.
Sterling is the most amazing building I’ve ever been in. As an employee of Yale I was granted access all over - and the entire campus is just beautiful.
The politics are simply awful, as you could imagine.
Why does the NA get to keep his weapon?
I’m guessing they think it’s better for the white guy to be crushing him with a rock than shooting him? Maybe I just don’t understand how (or perhaps if) leftists ‘think’.
Today's liberals are acting more and more like the Stalinists of old.
Here's an example of erasing history, from the master himself. Notice how the fellow on the right (who fell out of favor) simply disappears from the photo.
How are liberal different from the Taliban?
The Great Cleansing continues.
Many of us never thought we would ever have such in the USA, but the Libs found a way. Sadly, they are getting Republican politicians to do the cleansing in many states/counties/cities.
Many decried alQaeda and ISIS and the Taliban tearing down historic structures and statues. Many of those same criers are the ones behind this Great Cleansing in the USA.
IIRC, the Orwellian classic 1984 showed an entire government department that existed for the purpose of constantly rewriting history. A half-century ago, many of us sneered at that ever happening. Today, not so much.
It would be interesting to see if history has anything so say about this Great Cleansing a century from now. And we continue to wonder how great civilizations rose and fell.
Looks like they are behind the same shield. Perhaps they were fighting together in this particular instance. When are people “in positions of authority “ going to tell the snowflakes to buck up? (FR friendly wording)
Erasing history, taking down statues - these are the behaviors of invaders, and to me this reeks of agenda 21 globalism.
Just ask the Serb Orthodox whose churches were destroyed, anyone in Tibet or Afghanistan, or survivors of the USSR.
Why don't they understand how dehumanizing this is? It is my strong opinion that they brought the violence yesterday on themselves.
There is a statue of Lenin north of Seattle but no one is afraid it will create dictators committed to genocide.
I read that Lexington is going to accelerate their removal of confederate statues because of the violence yesterday.
White supremacy is wrong but this is the completely worst way to change the world.
Speaking of “historical whitewash”, I am personally sick of associating the blunderbuss with Puritans and early settlers. It’s an invention of cartoonists and greeting card illustrators of the early twentieth century. Note: the library in question was built in 1931, well after the idea had taken hold.
It was visually striking, and “old timey” enough that it became a meme, along with buckled shoes and hats.
There might have been the occasional blunderbuss in settler’s hands, especially with the Dutch, but they were most often employed as coach guns and on the fighting tops of ships, where the flared muzzle made reloading easier while swaying.
The fact that they were short ranged and heavy made them poor choices for hunting. The usual fowling pieces of the time looked more like regular muskets, and would have been a much better choice.
(BTW & FWIW, why does the NA's face [bottom photo] resemble 0b0z0...?)
Criminal.
