The man who brought us the phrase "nasty, rotty" food has unsurprisingly been busted for corruption.
That's one David Binkle, a former chef who bit and clawed his way to the top of the Los Angeles Unified School District's $354-million food operation, running the Michelle Obama-ordained school lunch reform that was so bad in Los Angeles that the students set up a black market in Flamin' Hot Cheetos as a substitute. His horrible operation gave us that evocative descriptor, "nasty rotty stuff," which got around.
Turns out he was overpaying contractors, taking kickbacks, and billing it all to the taxpayer. One of those contractors, by the way, was Tysons Food, a Fortune 100 company that just incidentally was involved in the teaching of Hillary Clinton, back in her Arkansas days, to become an ace commodity cattle futures trader. Those guys.
It probably should have been a red flag that kids, who cannot be fooled, sounded the first alarm about how bad the food was, compared to the copious praise that came down from the White House on that same plan.

And does Michelle Obama own this Chicago-style politics scheme? She sure does. Look for more of this to shake out as corruption scandals come rolling out about the true nature of that scheme.

Prison food.
Michelle Obama is nasty, Rotty.
I’ve eaten in a lot of federal prisons ( not as an inmate...as a federal employee) and the food was actually quite good. Prepared by inmates learning skills for post release employment. They don’t dare serve Michelle’s swill in prisons! I’m surprised there weren’t kiddie riots over that crap that was foisted on them. I guess refusing to eat it was the best they could do.
I have a healthy school lunch for you right here Michelle.
...blue and gray ham is never tasty....
Ooops. just flushed it.
The Little Libertarian in me is raising and waiving her hand again!
She wants to know why people aren’t feeding their own d@mn kids a packed lunch from home!?
Hell, Mooch was probably getting her share of kickbacks from Binkle too. The Obama’s are beyond slimy.
Because low income welfare people are spending all of their spare money on cigs, drugs and booze, not their kids lunches like they should. Kids from the poorest families were hit the hardest by Mooche's stupid program and were unable to escape it. Because those kids were largely dependent on free lunches in public schools so they had to eat Mooche's gruel or go hungry.
Never trust a thing named Mike.

Quit being so negative, you know it’s only the caring that matters!///////
Me too, and I had to pay 30¢. Diner food, but tasty.
Kids from many schools aren’t allowed to bring their own lunches. Some places confiscate them. You can run your favorite search engine to find articles on it.
But...BUT...it was FOR THE CHILDREN!
Liberals are so dumb. I mean, really. Turn your children over to Mother Government and then wonder why you’ve raised yet ANOTHER Generation of mind-numbed morons...and malnourished yet OBESE children and drug addled teens or why you’re a, ‘Grandma’ by your 40th Birthday.
You’re STILL trying to figure out who YOUR Baby Daddy is and are whining to make Mother Government to pay for the meaningless existence of you and your b@stard offspring.
I’ll NEVER understand it. Never. I just can’t imagine being of that mindset. I can’t!
1) All the funding for the schools revolve around the school lunch program. That is why they try to get everyone signed up for it.
2) It is a fact that kids would go hungry because the baby mama would not pack da lunch. So, the Libs have to keep feeding dem or else you are a racist. Sad, but true.
