After decades of bashing white people in myriad ways, from “affirmative action” to the more recent “white privilege”, it is natural to expect an increased level of white identity in response. That is, if you are going to vilify and disadvantage people by categorizing them as “white”, those people are going to increasingly identify with other people in the same category. Leftist identity politics rely upon the large white population being politically fragmented and not voting on the basis of their race with the same uniformity that Blacks do. A sane white, Christian population is going to try to vote as a bloc as a means of survival.
Um, if someone calls me a “faggot” I don’t run off and join a gay pride parade to prove a point. If these people want to be racists then that is THEIR decision, not someone else’s fault.

Exactly. This is what you get when you play up identity politics, nurture black lives matter and ignore ANTIFA radicals. I don’t particularly like the vitriol but it is inevitable that if you are going to continue attacking and denigrating “white males” and their culture, you will create this type of animosity and response. Keep discriminating against white males with diversity initiatives and brainwashing kids with intersectionality theory and you will only breed more of this. The Balkanization of our country is well at hand, thanks to the identity politics of the leftist dems. So much for the great melting pot.
I get the frustrations that a large part white America feel. I feel it too. I am tired of listening to the media blame us for every problem that exists in minority communities. For every failure they suffer. Blamed for the sins of those who have been gone for decades and centuries.
That our continued success in society is only due to “white privilege.
