Unreal: Clinton's Pastor Compared Her 2016 Election Loss to Jesus's Death

He is a little off. The death that equated to Hillary’s campaign was not of Jesus. It was of Judas. Hillary was acknowledged by her fellow citizens as a traitor, one who sold her country for 30 pieces of silver.
This theologically illiterate preacher does not have his exegesis in order, as is true of most UMC pulpit rats and their beautified Bishops and their lick-spittle Superintendents.
Jesus’ death was of perfection in payment for the world’s sin. Judas’ death was a coward surrendering to his own sin. Judas committed suicide as a false atonement for his arrogance.
Certainly Hillary is not a Christ like figure. Her deep and terrible corruption make her a vilified criminal, not a sacrificial lamb.
If there is any parallel to be drawn with Jesus it is to compare the attitude of Trump’s detractors to the hatred shown Jesus by the Temple authorities, the swamp of that age. Jesus had spoken forcefully against the Temple and claimed it would be destroyed completely. It was, shortly after his resurrection.
I pray we do not need to see this magnificent man destroyed as the price for bringing down the corruption that plagues our nation. Lord, let this cup pass. Nevertheless, if it is Your Will, let it be done.
