Personally, I think this pro-gay cartoon is wrong, so if I had preschoolers around me, I would probably change the channel. However, I would stop short of banning the cartoon for the reasons I just mentioned. Don’t turn into a Leftist who restricts freedom. Rather, monitor what your kids and grandkids watch. When they get old enough to make informed choices on their own, the best you can do is let them make their own mistakes and learn the consequences of being responsible for your own actions.

I would ask you to contemplate something for a moment.

Suppose you were living in Salem Massachusetts around 1692, and there was someone out on the street corner preaching that you and your family were witches.

Do you think "turning the channel" is an appropriate way to behave in such a circumstance?

A specious argument, since the context does make sense. Changing a channel in 1692 isn’t applicable. Today, I would have faith in the legal system to prove I wasn’t a warlock.

As to the other arguments that we’re losing the war with the Leftists, I agree. And part of the problem is that “our side” has the political voice of the GOP, a group of spineless politicians who do nothing. Since 2010, we have given them the House, the Senate, and now the White House and the best McConnell and the rest of the gutless GOP can do is wring their hands and tell us to wait. Wait for what? You either start working for US, including the demise of the political Left, or you’re out...period. No donations, no support from conservatives, no nothing.

Meanwhile, the best I can do is change the channel. We don’t have politicians with enough guts to play the legal game the Leftists do.
