Kim is going to test whether that is the case. When he launches his missiles at Guam, we should shoot them down.

“When he launches his missiles at Guam, we should shoot them down.o “

Nonsense.

We should take them out on the ground, before launch.

There’s no reason to risk the credibility of out ABM assets.

“When he launches his missiles at Guam”

He’ll more likely send his missiles towards Japan.

There’s historical animosity and Japan is nearby and densely populated.

At this stage, he’s got everything he needs except accuracy.

I guess US intelligence was too busy chasing DNC server hackers.

Hopefully, Kim can still be taken out by non-nuclear means.

How good are these missile defenses? 99%? 75%? 50%?

Cuz, unless we shoot down all of the missiles, it's bad PR for us, because it makes us look vulnerable to even a small country's nuclear attack.

High PR risk in both directions.

Also, wouldn't we be giving away a lot about their capabilities, as they would surely be tracked?

Then launch a cruise missile barrage against his launch site and suspected nuke sites. Take out all his SAM capabilities while we're at it.

He's not going to behave unless there is pain for misbehavior. Just shooting down the missile is not pain. Plus it would give the Chinese desired intel on our actual anti-missile capabilities, which might be the actual point to this whole drama.
