I knew Brooks Jennings personally. Last time we spoke was right after the election of Donald Trump. He was so pumped and loved wearing his MAGA hat. I came to know him thru the family of his wife Jill. I have been friends with Jill’s father for 35+ years. Please pray for the family. Remember Jill and Matthew, Brooks and Jill’s 9 year old son.
Based on every report, the murderer was the cancer of the neighborhood. No doubt he was a hate-filled, ardent leftist, Trump hater. I think their is little doubt that after this fiend shot Brooks in the head the first time, and as he walked from his property on to the Jennings property he was going to kill a “deplorable” Trump voter and Republican. Jill watched him walk up to her motionless husband sprawled on the ground. Carter pointed his gun and cold bloodedly executed Brooks with a second shot to the head.
It is beyond words.
