President Trump’s “excessive expectations” for legislative victories in Republican-controlled Congress are frustrating Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Attendees at a Rotary Club meeting in Kentucky gathered on Monday to hear Mr. McConnell explain why Republican lawmakers have been unable to deliver major legislative accomplishments....

McC’s problem is, he's thinking one dimensional - that is, he thinks Trump doesn't 'get' the 'good ole DC club'. But it's not Trump that has 'excessive expectations' - it's the people who elected Trump. Us guys who have the same expectations from our legislators as their own boss has of us - that is, you show up and you're productive every day or you're out. No McConnel, Trump’s expectations are not too high, they are the same expectations of the GOP electorate that made you majority leader in the Senate. A fact you have ignored ever since you obtained that position. YOU McConnell are why the public ranking of Congress is so low.
