It’s all leading to the redefinition of what it means to be human. Which will lead to their goal: Transhumanism. Merging of man with machine. People in the future may be implanted with chips that say who they are, how much $ they have, and allow them to control devices maybe. Either way, the chips will also allow the powers that be to control people’s emotions and prevent crimes, among other things.
I think that’s where it’s going.
You are absolutely correct (IMHO). Everyone today wants to be a god among men. You see it everywhere. Everyone wants to transcend their earthly limitations, whether it be their sex (NOT gender - that's a linguistic construct, and conveniently overlooked by everyone), their incomes (credit card debt), or their social status (everyone can be a super hero by agreeing with the Democrat and Hollywood elites). And they will all ultimately fail.
