California Bans ICE Agents from State Labor Offices to Protect illegal Workers
Breitbart ^ | 6 Aug 2017 | Assemblyman Tim Donnelly

Posted on 08/06/2017 7:55:22 AM PDT by Cheerio

California Labor Commissioner Julie Su has ordered state employees to prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from entering the department’s offices without a warrant.

According to the Sacramento Bee, Su issued the directive last month, ostensibly to protect illegal aliens reporting employee abuse at the hands of employers.

One Democrat Assemblyman from San Francisco is pushing it one step, further the Bee reports, proposing a law to limit ICE accesses to workplaces:

“The atmosphere of fear created by Trump and ICE’s expanded dragnet hurt all California workers,” said Assemblyman David Chiu, D-San Francisco, who sponsored the bill that would restrict immigration enforcement at workplaces. “We have to do everything we can to fight back, and it’s great to see our labor commissioner taking a stand against the small minority of unscrupulous employers who are illegally retaliating against their employees.”

I certainly hope Trump, DOJ, and DHS are not going to allow this to stand. CUT THE FEDERAL FUNDS OFF. Do they need Congresses approval to enforce the law - is that where we are?

So a commie state bureaucrat can stick his/her middle finger at the Federal Government enforcing Constitutionally correct Federal Law? I remember the Kenyan Usurper strutting all over the USA touting his immigration policies and there wasn’t a peep from the stupid left. They are complete hypocrites.

The Brexit people and a good many Democrats out there think California can survive on its own as a separate nation. They’re delusional. The feds keep pumping billions into that sorry state. What happens if the spigot is turned off? Are those morons pushing Brexit aware that they would be on the hook providing financial assistance to the millions of illegals there? Of course not. A separate California would split into at least two entities. Do you think the Silicon Valley millionaires want to pay for the illegal alien plagued south? California needs federal help and they know it. The Dems, as noted here a multitude of times, don’t want to surrender those sure 55 electoral votes.

Put the condition in every federal contract, as a flow down requirement, that all working on the contract must be legally entitled to work in the US. Then audit the contracts all the way down through the last subcontractor. Doing this does not even require the services of ICE. One could start with the people mowing the grass outside Livermore Labs.

HEHE, enter the building, like SGT Cordell Walker would. Kick the door open then, well you can think of the rest.

To anyone not living here in California, please remember, the
State Labor Offices do not speak for all of us here.
California is a majority Democrat-run state, and has been even before 2003, when Gov. Grey Davis was recalled and removed from office. Gov. Schwarzenegger came after him, leading many to interpret this as a partisan Sea Change.
However, soon after his election, Arnold became well known as a mostly domesticated RINO.

Someone working illegally is able to get State legal assistance to go after their employer. The State has no interest in the fact the worker is working illegally.

How much humiliation are the agents going to put up with before they slap cuffs on these criminals for harboring illegal aliens. The ICE agents have enforcement jurisdiction to immediately do so under the CSA. Fines don’t mean anything because it is the taxpayers dollars, but when you lock the bastards up they will get the message real fast.

So run NLETS/DMV check and just hang out by the illegals car in the parking lot around quitting time, or go to their house an hour later.

Shared databases work both ways.

Southern CA would be worse off than Brexit if both exit. The newly independent southern CA would at first let the invasion continue. Everyone would leave except for those getting handouts and the elitists in their protected communities. Whereas Britain after Brexit could thwart invaders. (but they might have to do something about the Chunnel)

It would be terrific for the US. The portion of CA that stayed with the US would still send US Senators and Reps to DC. They'd likely be conservative and Republican, much better than the maniacs they send now.

Do 4th amendment protections extend to constitutional legalities between Fed and State offices? This is all the peoples business.

If you work for the gov’t, and refuse to follow or enforce the law, you should be removed with prejudice.

Yes, nice to see that there’s at least one other adult in this conversation.

California is a majority Democrat-run state

Maybe not, given that many of the Democrat strongholds have voter registrations in excess of their qualified populations - like LA County, at 144%, where almost half of Clinton's surplus popular votes (national surplus) came from, and another ten such high population counties in CA alone.

They just run the votes through the machines as many times as they think they can get away with. Obviously the same in MI (else why stop the recounts so quickly?) and probably all over the country (the balance of Clinton's surplus popular votes came from four counties in NY). At this rate, have Democrats won a presidential election legitimately since Carter? I have my doubts.

It wouldn't take a large conspiracy to affect the outcomes in a small number of necessary states. We need to completely purge the voter rolls and start over, with significant penalties for deliberate fraud.

I think a good old federal invasion of the armpit known as kommiefornia is in line. Sort of like “Operation Wetback”, only much, much bigger.

Heck, if California Exits. . . .that means they’re no longer under the Colorado River compacts or part of the Western Power Grid.

Imagine what happens to California, when the water and the power just. . .stops.
