Sadly, I have a friend who has a son who is a CG officer. When I texted that I was surprised he did this, she had no problem with it and asked me why I was surprised as there are several CG trans and “thousands” in the military.

I found their lack of understanding very disturbing.

The sad truth is that the silent majority has been silent for too long. Weak-minded people follow what they think is the majority opinion, and your friend heard no opinions for years other than "trans and gay GOOD!!!" We have erred in that we have failed to voice our opinions in public through a misguided sense of politeness, and the result is that all of the weak-minded sheep now are unaware that there IS another opinion out there.

To correct this problem, I have made it a point to voice all manner of politically incorrect opinions whenever called for. I do it in a somewhat diplomatic manner, usually, as you get more flies with honey and all that, but I do it just the same. I suggest that you, and all sane people, do the same, asap.

Exactly right, regardless of how any of us feels on this issue, the fact that he is publically dissing his CIC, he should be removed from his Command post immediately.

According to the article at the end, there are exactly THIRTEEN CG guys who 'self-identify' as 'transgender'. Out of a total of about 73,000 personnel, not including civilian full-timers. That is .018%. Two-hundreths of a percent. If we float that same number to the other armed services, we can assume:
Army: with 990k soldiers, we have 176 people messed up.
Navy: 430k sailors gives us 77 more!
AirForce: 490k peeps means we might have around 88 guys who think they're 'trans'.
Marines (even though they're really just part of the Navy): 220k guys mean around 40 have these mental issues.

And, even if we triple these numbers to account for those who still haven't decided if they're 'transsexuals', we only have 1200 people. That's not even close to 'thousands'....
