The Likely Road Ahead for the Mueller Investigation
American Thinker ^ | 08/05/2017 | William L. Gensert

Special Counsel Mueller has empanelled a grand jury with respect to his investigation into collusion between members of the Trump Campaign and Russian agents. At least that’s the premise. It would not be beyond the realm of possibility that what is presented to this grand jury has little to do with the 2016 election and much to do with whatever he has found looking into all aspects of President Trump’s life and business dealings going back to before the election of Barack Obama. We already know he has been asking questions about a real estate deal from 2008 where a Russian oligarch bought a Florida mansion from the president.

That’s the problem with the Mueller investigation. He has gone way beyond what he was charged to do with his appointment as Special Prosecutor.

..

Mueller is prosecuting an investigation in search of a crime, and from the first day of Trump’s presidency, progressives have been dreaming of a criminal indictment or impeachment. By the conduct of Robert S. Mueller III, they are willing to go to any lengths to get one or the other.

One should never get really excited until all the smoke blows over. During a recent World Series, Derek Jeter told Aaron Boone not to fret, that the ghost will be along any time now. Well, the ghost did show up, after all it is Yankee Stadium. So, thanks to Yogi, it’s not over till it’s over.

And this, my friends is far from over.

This is the one area were Trump could get away with pardoning everyone convicted, because the cases were outside the scope of this specific special counsel appointment. These cases should be conducted by the DA of the Southern District of NY, and if double jeopardy or statute of limitations issues come up, that is the fault of Mueller.

Trump lacks the killer instinct. “We don’t care about lock’er up any more”, so there was no need to fire Comey on day one. Rats and GOPEs are playing for keeps. They don’t take prisoners. They won’t stop until Trump is removed from office.

DNC and Clinton campaign chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz has obstructed police investigation of DNC contractors who had access to DNC and House committees’ e-mail. It is very likely that these contractors - foreigners who have since fled or been caught fleeing the country - are responsible for the release of DNC e-mail, and not the Russians as the Democrat’s claim.

Comey, Rosenstein, and Muller have joined the DNC campaign of misdirection from DNC corruption. They are not conducting a counterintelligence investigation of alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, they are instead investigating anyone associated with the Republican candidate, now president, Trump. They are not investigating obvious potential sources of leaked DNC e-mail and instead are acting upon DNC’s dubious claims of Russian involvement while also ignoring DNC’s obstruction of investigation of their e-mail systems. The DNC’s claims are the basis for the allegation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, which somehow also forms the basis of their allegation that Trump “colluded” with Russia to interfere with the election. Not only is that claim baseless, it’s insane. Democrats have for a year alleged that Trump “colluded” with Russians and have yet to produce a single scrap of evidence. Yet here we are with an ungoverned special council leading a team of Democrat bundlers and Clinton Foundation lawyers investigating Trump’s tax returns from a decade ago.

Comey, Rosenstein, and Muller have destroyed their credibility.

Amen! Actually, they will not stop until people who believe as we do are either killed outright or in camps waiting for them to kill us at their leisure, and pleasure.

All I can say is that I will never surrender and go into one of Hillary’s camps. If worse comes to worse, my last stand will be in my front yard.

Better yet, make the enemies of America make their last stand in their front yards.

We know that the Democrats refused to accept the results of the 2016 election and that they are willing to do anything to reverse it.

There was a time when Americans could say, with pride, that their elections were accepted by one and all, that they could brag about the peaceful transition from one administration to another.

Not so today. Democrats refuse to accept the results of the 2016 election. They were so convinced that Hillary Clinton would be elected that they still cannot believe that she wasn't.

Furthermore, Democrats today are radicalized and becoming more so. Their radicalization is becoming more and more fanatical, unreasonable, and dangerous.

“Trump lacks the killer instinct.”

I must agree. He has done nothing to stop the coup. He could have fired Rosenstein weeks/months ago. His replacement could have gotten Mueller under control. Complaining in a tweet about sessions does nothing.

Mueller is prosecuting an investigation in search of a crime...

In other words "an Inquisition". We should begin referring to Mueller as "Chief Inquisitor" in recognition of the tactics.

I call it click bait on the part of Drudge and the media.

The fact that Drudge keeps ignoring the HUGE story of DWS and the Pakistani brothers and the money does not bode well.

IMHO

My first question if I were Mueller would be what evidence did Comey have to start this investigation in the first place? Or did he do so simply because as Hillary says, “We literally begged them to investigate.”

That would be the ideal solution. And I am all for it. But if we do not nip this bullshit of impeaching President Trump in the bud, it is not going to bode well for us, to put it mildly.

His testimony before Congress was delayed so that he could first meet with Mueller. What a stench.

There is a five (5) year federal statute of limitations on prosecution for crimes except in limited instances. Financial crimes are not included in those exceptions.
