One of those places was Elliot County, in eastern Kentucky. That county voted Democratic in every presidential election from 1872 to 2012, then in 2016 it went for Trump.
Not too shabby for a man the press constantly reminds us has the lowest approval rating in history at this point in his administration, eh?
Cool map.
Larry, nice data point for you.
FYI
Northern California shows nice increase.

I think the people voted for Trump, not the RINO party. That is why I finally voted for president again. I did not vote for Romney, and I struggled to vote for GWB the last time. I did not vote for McCain either. I had never in my entire voting life skipped voting for a president, but did for those two. I am tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. I don’t vote for republicans any more just because they are republicans. I am sick of republicans, the RINOs of the party. I quit the stinking RINO party. So I think a lot of people who had stopped voting for republicans came back and voted for Trump. They voted for HIM, not the party. He may have won if he had run as a Dim also. It was Trump that drew people back to the polls. But, this next election, he needs to come through on ObammyCare or it is going to cost him votes, meaning states. If he screws our Senator turned Atty Gen, Jeff Sessions, he could lose Alabama’s 9 Electoral votes. People here, Christians and conservatives don’t forget if Mr. Sessions is screwed over by Trump or the RINOs We don’t forget. We remember.
