Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who Trump blasted on Twitter after she voted against the party on health care last month, locked in nine “pro forma” sessions over the next four weeks, The Hill reported.

This move by the Senate might be good. I don’t think that Sessions is going anywhere, anyway. But this move by Senators has tipped their hand, and perhaps they can “enjoy” some feedback from conservative constituents during the break.

How can they block him if they’re in recess? Why aren’t all Presidents blocked from making recess appointments?

Alaskan’s had their chance last time, and re-elected Murkowski as a write-in candidate after some Tea Party douche won the primary.

Better come up with candidates that aren’t douches if you expect primary wins.

It tells you McConnell (Bush) has the 19 GOP Senators ready to convict as soon as Ryan (Romney) gets the fake news he needs from Mueller to convince 25 GOP members to indict.

They won’t listen to us. The only “feedback” they will understand is to vote against them and/or support their opponents any way you can.

The Constitution is pretty clear - Article 2, Section 2, Third Claus grants the president the power to make recess appointments. It doesn’t mention any power of the Senate to block this right. The resolution is patently unconstitutional and would quickly be struck down.

Politically, though, doing so might create acrimonious relations between the Congress and the White House...

More fake news.

The senate NEVER really goes into recess, but “lro firma” sessions on occasions like this. One senator reads ir says something every day.

Against Zero, he tried to claim ‘recess’, the Senate said “pro forma” & USSC ruled for GOP.

That is what I am wondering. I doubt this is constitutional or it would have been done before now. I think he needs to recess appoint two or three of his picks anyway and let the SCOTUS sort it out.

Tge press will attack and label the badasses as douces. If they are labeled as a douch by the press then those are the ones to vote for.
