The glaciers “created negative feedback”?

Well, let’s just put them in the box until they get their minds right.

I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic, making a joke, or just don’t know what “negative feedback” means.

So I’ll elaborate... When a system is stimulated and that stimulation cause an increase, not a decrease in that stimulation, that is negative feedback.

In this case, the more ice I have, the more ice I get.

Positive feedback is the opposite:

When a system is stimulated and that stimulation cause a decrease in stimulation, that is positive feedback.

Like the shock absorber in your car; it dampens out the stimulation of a suspension upset.
