Justice Dept. to Take On Affirmative Action in College Admissions
WASHINGTON — The Trump administration is preparing to redirect resources of the Justice Department’s civil rights division toward investigating and suing universities over affirmative action admissions policies deemed to discriminate against white applicants, according to a document obtained by The New York Times.
The document, an internal announcement to the civil rights division, seeks current lawyers interested in working for a new project on “investigations and possible litigation related to intentional race-based discrimination in college and university admissions.”

Both docs made it into the profession purely because they're black. I won't see a black doctor for this reason. Our area proliferates with such.

Equally as bad as the racist quotas is the modern god-awful push to get women into STEM-related education/careers.
Good grief, there is absolutely nothing in the way of discrimination happening to prevent women from choosing hard sciences if they wish to - quit pushing them already.

The worst discrimination is against Asian students.
Actually, because of discrimination there are more women than men in college. It gets worse at the graduate level. My law school has substantially more women than men because of affirmative action discrimination against men.

My 11 lb. daughter was delivered by a wonderful ob/gyn woman from West Indies 26 years ago. She is still practicing, and from what I read, is still very popular :)

What? Trump said Scalia was racist for being against Affirmative Action? He said it’s severe on black people to not have Affirmative Action.
Looks like the Left is in the process of learning a HARD LESSON. They pass “colorblind laws” with a wink and a nod, FULLY EXPECTING that the laws would only be enforced in one direction...in this case for the purpose of taking down white males (and Asians).
Except when one looks at the laws, AS WRITTEN, they are not anti-white, or anti-anything - they demand EQUAL TREATMENT, so purposely holding back whites is simply not legal.
Never a problem in the past though...since because the unwritten rule was to only enforce in one direction. But too bad...Trump doesn’t follow ‘unwritten’ rules.

Although I doubt the Republicans can find anyone who speaks the Asian Language (as they probably see it), this does present a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to make a play for their votes. Offer their kids EQUAL OPPORTUNITY - the same play the Dems made successfully for black votes.
And don’t sell the Asians short, they now have half the population in the US as blacks - in other words, they are a HUGE minority group...but right now they’re owned by the Dems, simply because the idiot Republicans can’t think of a way to reach them.

Same here. I vowed to never use the services of a black doctor (or Hispanic, for that matter) due to not having a way to determine if they are qualified for that job.
But then an Alt-Right friend (really Alt-Right, as in Alex Jones follower) had some major surgery done and I asked what doctor...wound up being a black dude. He was happy with the surgery, so I went through with it...no regrets! The guy knows what he’s doing...just sad there are millions like me that initially won’t trust him.
