We’ve seen this with NASA and we’ve seen the NOAA ignore a subpoena for their data when their Karl study didn’t show the lack of warming from 1998 on. Getting people to investigate for themselves has proven extremely difficult, as many simply accept what they hear from the warming propagandists.

This all sounds trite until you realize the alarmist predict that a 2 degree change is calamitous. Bureaucratically they added one of those two degrees in this case.

Either they are lying or they are doing lousy science by not have redundant, independent measuring devices. If one or two go bad, the others will still be taking good data. Setting a maximum low temp is a bit shaky, too.
