The skinny repeal only repealed 3 of the parts of Obamacare (Individual Mandate, medical device tax, employers tax).
There still would have been the massive insurance bailouts and subsidies to Medicaid, as well as all the rest of Obamacare.
Folks - I cannot stress this enough. Obamacare must be fully repealed and market forces returned to healthcare, or we will have single-payer.
Now instead of the GOP being responsible for Obamacare, Obamacare is still hung around the Dems' necks, and Trump can now end the double-standard of Congress being exempt from it.
What about the Cruz amendment as a stand-alone bill. Even though it was Anne Coulter who made the original suggestion. That aside, if the Cruz amendment were a stand-alone bill WITH NO OTHER AMENDMENTS I’d be happy. I could get any insurance I want with having to take the government brand.
