BIID or Body Integrity Identity Disorder is a real disease and can be caused by a brain mapping issue. The brain does not recognize the limb as being part of the body. Other times it can be from a childhood issue. There was one woman on a TV special who wished to be blind and it was discovered an adult female relative who was blind, was one of the few adults in her life who was kind to her.

There is also Body Dismorphic Disorder, where a person perceives a body part as being deformed or misshapen and seeks surgery to correct it. (think of Michael Jackson)

No doubt it’s a mental illness. But what’s even sicker is that leftists will try to “normalize” and actually force us to pay to enable this insanity, just as it has done for so-called transsexuals, which is basically the same mental illness.
