Democrats are out to destroy us. The Republicans are too stupid and/or cowardly to oppose them. And there ain't no viable third party.

Depressing, ain't it?

To be honest, if that “skinny repeal” was all they were going to get, it’s probably just as well that McCain defeated the bill. Nothing that came out of the Conference Committee after that was going to pass anyway.

For now, President Trump should subject every Congressman to Obamacare, without subsidies, if it’s true that he can do that with the stroke of a pen.

Then just take on the health insurance morass one small bill at a time. See how many Democrats want to go on record against dropping the individual mandate, for instance.

Or start with the 10% tax on tanning salons. Run a bill up the flagpole to repeal it and let the young people who want a tan for the upcoming wedding know that Obamacare needs an extra 10% out of their hides.

Furthermore, after six or eight examples like that, and with Obamacare premiums still rising and insurance companies continuing to desert the market, the 2018 election could still see gains for the GOP by running even harder against Obamacare. And maybe someone will primary Murkowski and a few others to boot.

They are almost all not representatives of the people. They are representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and of George Soros. We elect ostensible solidly principled conservatives to Congress and they are apprised of the reality of their situation as soon as they get there. If they want to be wealthy for life and have adequate funding for their campaigns, they must toe the Chamber/Soros line. If they do not they will have opposition primary candidates massively funded and will not share in the available corruption and will not be guaranteed the highly remunerative sinecures when they lose an election or "retire" that the co-operative Congressmen get and will not get committee chairmanships or other perks while they are incumbent.

Now we know why AZ keeps him intact: they want to preserve Obamacare, but their senior citizens are on Medicare! People in AZ must adore the publicity this old geezer brings them. Otherwise, they would hardly be mentioned in the national news.

McCain needs to have Obamacare for his insurance.

Does Bill Cassidy belong on the list too?

Murkowski just won reelection as did the execrable McCain (a good friend worked for a senator in an adjoining office to McCain’s and said you would suffer through hearing daily torrents of verbal abuse he would hurl at his staff, he’s a real nutjob with an utter lack of class or loyalty). I don’t blame Collins as much because she was at least consistent and like Snowe when she was a senator, stuck with us on the initial Obamacare vote. The ones that really need to be spotlighted in advertising are the so-called “moderate” Democrats up for reelection next year - Heitkamp in North Dakota, Tester in Montana, Manchin in West Virginia in particular - are all in states won by Trump by 20 to 40 points. They shouldn’t be allowed to side with the enemy on this and then cosy up with conservative “words” when running for reelection. Who is running against Heitkamp? Who is running against Tester?

A bill from a prior session is dead with the new Congress.

All ridin’ the Congress’ gravy train. Time to knock ‘em off of it........please get TRUE Conservatives to primary these idiots and let’s get back on track for us as citizens as well as to help our President. I think there ought to be age limits in that out house on crapitol hill. Not a day over 60 for any of them......;)

There had been talk of Manchin voting with Trump on a few matters, but I don’t recall that he has at all.

And I’ve hated Juan McLame since I shared an elevator with him back in the early 90’s.

What happened in the elevator to cause you to hate him?

I believe Manchin and Heitkamp voted to confirm Gorsuch and they were on board on some coal matters, but that is about it. Otherwise, they stick with the pack. Remember, Trump won West Virginia 69-26 and North Dakota 64-27 percent.

This all about the McCain ego.

The (hoped for) McCain Legacy:

1. I’m a great man who should have been President.

2. I showed the American people that Donald Trump is a poor excuse for President and should never hsve been elected.

3. I’m a great man who should have been President.

It’s dead once a new Congress is sworn in, but earlier this week McConnell did bring that straight repeal bill back and it also was defeated.

This is one Sorry S.O.B.

This guy hates his country.

I won’t fly my front yard Flag at half mast when he’s gone, NO WAY!

He is a disgrace to the Great State of Arizona, and his
record shows only one thing, John McCain is all about John McCain. Period. Can’t wait for Kelly Ward. She could run circles around this JOKER!
