is that we need to change what “conservative” means
to something it has never meant.
The author makes a terrible “conservative” case for a single-payer system, and his article is filled with some questionable facts related to government-run health care. But it’s a topic worth discussing because the reality is that this is a country where most people already live under some kind of taxpayer-funded medical coverage anyway.
