At least 15 people, including four DACA recipients, have been arrested in Texas during a protest demanding permanent legal status for the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States.

The demonstration, organised by Cosecha – a nonviolent immigrants’ rights movement – took place in the city of Austin near the state capitol building on Wednesday.

A group of about 50 people chanted “undocumented and unafraid” and “si se puede” (“yes you can”) as some blocked a street in the state capital, leading to the arrest of 15 people including four beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) programme.

" How’d you like it if an illegal took your job so your next door neighbor could benefit from your loss of employment."

And even if your job wasn't taken, your being bled by taxes for the cost to the rest of us of the welfare, schooling, police and prisons for illegals - just so certain businesses can keep "their costs" down.

My husband is a carpenter-he does a lot of drywall. He’d make more money if he broke the law, too. Doesn’t mean he should.

We’d all be more profitable if we broke various laws. We don’t because it’s wrong. Why is it acceptable for some to increase their profit through lawlessness?

Honestly, I would not want to eat anything prepared by 9 illegals in the kitchen no matter how cheap it cost!

Do you think they had health inspections?
Do you think they have required hand washing!

Seriously

You should always do the right thing...period, end of story. Hiring illegal by frequenting these businesses is wrong, and it hurts honest people.

Technically, “si se puede” means “IF you can.” “Si” — with the accent — means “yes.” And, for the record, “Si [with the accent] nos podemos.” Yes, we can ... deprt your worthless azzes.

To me, someone that says it is okay to use illegal labor because it is cheaper, would say it is okay to use stolen materials because it was cheaper.

Seize their assets, jail, then, deport these criminals. If they return, shoot them.

" but there is a price-tag to this whole game-plan."

You are assuming that short term greed will trump long term success. Once the illegals are gone, one businessman will figure out that if he lowers his prices, he'll get more customers than his competitors. Even labor figures that out, eventually. (Except unions. They would rather close a plant than reduce union dues, and with federal protections, they don't have to learn. Ask Catapillar, who used to be in Peoria.)

The number of illegals in the USA as I write this is FAAAARR more than 11 million. I calculate closer to 55 million.

I worked at a country club for 10 years. One by one as the waitresses all left they were replaced with male El Salvadorans. They were all legal. You’d be surprised how many legal El Salvadorans there are here.

Getting rid of illegals might raise prices in illegal-dependent businesses, but it would lower taxpayer costs, due to not having to pay for their health care and schooling.”””

Your
American kids might actually learn something in school——when they move forward with only English being taught & everything NOT being repeated in Spanish.

Judicial & prison costs would go down. Everybody’s insurance would go down. Vehicle & home owners both.

Nevada has been giving out driver’s licenses to illegals for over a year. MY vehicle insurance has gone up 47%-—My LAST ACCIDENT was Oct of 1966. My last ticket was around 1995.

The 47% increase is because of the illegals. With or without driver’s license—they still drive....poorly-—but they are driving.

DACA must be ended.
It was illegal under Obama and is still illegal under Trump.
We must restore the rule of law.
An illegal alien is an illegal alien and ALL of them should be removed from our country.

NO AMNESTY!

“si se puede” (“yes you can”)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Si Se Puede
Yes We Can
Yes we can ignore your laws
Yes we can enter your country anytime we feel like it.
Yes we vote in your elections.
Yes we can steal your country.
If we were to cut the 11-million and dismiss them out of the US...overnight, we’d start to notice everything going up in price.
Keeping our country..............priceless
So, that leaves the tax payers holding the bag for their health care, taxes, and all the other welfare the illegals can get from the social services not meant for them. One way or another, we, the tax payers pay. At least if the price for goods and services goes up because Americans are doing the work, the money will stay in this country, and our economy.
