FBI to give deleted Clinton emails back to State Dept.

The FBI will give the State Department thousands of deleted work-related emails that it uncovered while investigating Hillary Clinton’s private server.

The bureau said in a letter filed with a federal court late Tuesday afternoon that, now that the investigation into Clinton is over, it would turn over the emails over to the State Department for record-keeping.

“During the course of the investigation, the FBI obtained certain information that may include agency records of the State Department,” general counsel James Baker told the department.
“In accordance with our policies and procedures, the FBI will be providing this information to your department for review and determination of record status pursuant to the Federal Records Act and subsequent FOIA [Freedom of Information Act] processing as appropriate.”

According to FBI Director James Comey, investigators “discovered several thousand work-related” messages that were not among the roughly 30,000 emails Clinton gave to the government in 2014. The former secretary of State and her lawyers deleted approximately half of the 60,000 emails on her server, claiming at the time that they were purely personal and did not belong in the government’s hands.

The FBI recovered the emails through digital traces left on decommissioned servers and via the inboxes of people with whom Clinton communicated, Comey said.

The State Department did not indicate whether it would release the thousands of new emails to the public, as it did with the 30,000 emails she had already handed over.

How many leaks could a leaker leak, if a leaker could leak leaks?

After hanging around the courthouse for a few years, I find it impossible to trust lawyers.

This is what Trump is up against. He mentioned that the other day. He said the swamp was worse than anyone thought.

He has had to deal with what Obama and Hillary set up for him. He has had to deal with what the GOPe has done to him. I am sure some of these people were plants in his cabinet.

People wanted the swamp drained. Nobody ever said it was going to be sweet and clean.

Turning on Trump now will leave you with buddies like McCain.

Look out!

Maybe that’s why Trump is getting on Session’s case.

That was an act and the Senate got played. The Senate has given cart blanche to Sessions to run his agency. Trump dare not even think about firing him or he will face the wrath of Lindsey Graham. LOL! So now session goes after the deep-staters corrupting DC.

Way back when, education included classical rhetoric and debate. Even for those not the best at those subjects, the exposure imbued healthy skepticism about lawyers, pols, journalists, preachers and such.

Today, even skepticism has become merely emotional.

FBI director says method for unlocking San Bernardino iPhone only works on ‘narrow slice’ of devices

April 7, 2016

Comey did not seem concerned that the method for accessing Farook’s iPhone would be revealed by the outside group that helped them.

“The FBI is very good at keeping secrets, and the people we bought this from, I know a fair amount about them, and I have a high degree of confidence that they are very good at protecting them,” he said.

He only identified this group as “someone outside the government” and said “their motivations align with ours.”

A day before Comey spoke, FBI General Counsel James A. Baker said authorities were still analyzing the phone’s data and that it was “simply too early” to say whether the iPhone contained any useful information.

Baker also said it was not clear whether or when the bureau would reveal what was found on the phone, a decision that he said would only come after they finish analyzing its contents.

(Hmm ... who is the third party?!)

People wanted the swamp drained. Nobody ever said it was going to be sweet and clean.

Let us review the conundrum. A few days ago this Baker thing was out of Sessions control because it could be regarded as a Russia thing and therefore Mueller's to deal with. Trump goes ballistic on Sessions, the Senate warns off Trump and backs Sessions telling Trump he wouldn't dare ever fire Sessions. Now Sessions goes after Baker and no one can say a word. Who are they going to complain to for the ethics "violation" - Trump. He can't do a thing about it now.

Trump slipped out of their know like Houdini and has them tied in a knot and they haven't figured it out yet.

I’m reading another leak in my local newspaper from Bezos’ blog WaPoo. Yeah it’s time to start lowering the boom on these clowns. In detail start throwing them in jail. They’ll stop soon enough.

So, he was neck deep in FISA operations. Let the chips fall where they may. The authority for the warrants and unmasking had to come from somewhere and that is key. Someone/special are protecting their lily-whites to the extent of leaking classified information or anything else to throw the dogs off the trail. All imo.

The Senate and Mueller got played. There is a clear conflict of interest between Mueller, Comey and this Baker guy and if Mueller let it slide, then he gets rolled up in the net and has to go. It isn’t a Russia matter. It’s and integrity of DOJ matter and Trump, bless his heart, cannot step in and prevent Sessions from doing his job. There will be hell to pay to Lindsey if he even thinks about it - LOL! The deep state got so played. I am going around chuckling and smiling and everyone is looking at me as if I have gone nuts.

And so it begins.

What is with this stupid statement? Freepers have been using the phrase for as long as I can remember, but nothing begins. If it did, then something would have begun 20 years ago when Freepers started saying, "and so it begins."
