Is the author of this piece, Emily Atkin, really that ignorant, or is she just playing dumb?
“Climate Science” was heavily politicized by the Obama regime. The “climate scientists” that she quotes were clearly not bothered at all by that politicization, because they were riding the gravy train as a result of it.
Now that a small amount of sanity has been restored, they’re screaming ‘politicization’. Those rent-seekers ought to be publicly ridiculed. The fact that they’re not is further evidence of the corruption of “science”.
I wonder how the honest climatologists who’ve been forced out of the profession over the past few decades feel now.
The author associates “science” with virtue—but those days are long gone in this age of “big science”.
Scientists funded by grant money (and dependent on political correctness to keep the cash coming year after year) turn into witch doctors with computers.
It should be hard to be a #FakeScientist. They make things hard for real scientists.
Because climatologists are not scientists and not constrained by the scientific method.
Profession?
In other news: Grifters everywhere are worried about the future of their "profession".
That would be amazing if he did that. Not only because many scientist would switch teams, but if would make the media’s heads literally explode 100x worse than the military transgender ban.
True, that. They make wild claims about it never being warmer in thousands of years than now... after moving temperature monitoring stations from cool grassy areas to asphalt blacktops and hot roofs near stovepipes. See, it's warmer now! Plus they really don't know exact temperatures going back the last century, not to mention a few hundred years ago.
Then there is the need to hide false predictions that were completely wrong, such as Gore saying the east coast would be under water a decade ago... the east coast is doing fine right now. Why don't they research all the false predictions and why they didn't occur? Why should I believe climate "scientists" who make more false predictions by far than a single one that happened (which I'm still waiting for)? They simply cannot be believed.
Models . . . Precisely the problem. If climate change is settled science, there would be exactly ONE model. All future models must completely agree with the prototype model, or the former model is wrong. Which means, nothing is settled.
Unless they Falsified their Data and Made Deliberate False Statements regarding Global Warming based on their FALSIFIED DATA AND SCIENCE, they have nothing to worry about, Now you know why they are worried.!!
Prosecute and JAIL every last one of them for FRAUD!!!
If the pretend Scientists want to end the debate then PROVE WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE...It’s really that freakin’ simple.
