Unless Session resigns Trump is stuck with Rosenstein or a Obongo holdover as acting AG for who knows how long. So it looks like Trump wont even be able to get someone in there to get Mueller under control. Just great, what a mess. The recusal is the gift that keeps on giving.

No, I think if Sessions is fired, Trump is stuck with three Obama appointees in a row, and the Senate Judiciary has already warned that their calendar is full for the rest of the year. Unless, over the congressional summer recess, Trump fires all the Obama appointees, and does recess appointments for all of them with the most radical right-wing prosecutors he can find.

It is a mess for sure. But Rachel Brand, the #3 at DOJ, is thought to be good, so if Sessions and Rosenstein are both fired, she becomes Acting AG. That might be a good thing, apart from (or because of?) RINO heads exploding if that happens. The problem I see is that Paul Ryan cannot be counted on to not to react to that by endorsing either a select committee a la Watergate (young freepers - google that to see what a disaster it was) or by allowing, or even endorsing, legislation to create a Lawrence Walsh-like Independent Counsel (which is different from and even worse than the law Mueller is operating under). The big problem that Pres. Trump has had from the very beginning has been Paul Ryan.

Probably because Obama changed it to benefit him in the future...
Sec. 3. Revocation of Executive Order. Executive Order 13762 of January 13, 2017, is revoked.

Trump isn’t going to fire Sessions, it is rope-a-dope. Sessions is KILLING illegal immigration, Trump’s #1 platform plank .. the results are astounding. So now Trump gets the Democrats to try to “save” Sessions and fall in line behind supporting sessions, and once they are solidly behind him, he turns Sessions loose on the full Hilary/Clinton Foundation probe ... Democrats are caught with their pants down supporting Sessions. People keep thinking Trump is playing checkers, when he’s playing 3D chess. If you haven’t Read “art of the deal” you have no idea what I’m talking about. The left painted Reagan as a dunce ... making the same mistake here.

The attacks by Trump on Sessions I happen to feel is a Machiavelian move. If Sessions publicly directed going after Hillary on his own we know how the media would handle it. Trump’s driven by the realization if one looks at the direction and subjects Trump brings up. He is doing the media’s work. Because if the media were honest and objective. It would be going after the corruption instead of concealing or misdirecting public attention from it.
I’m not alone in believing this. Rush Limbaugh devoted several segments of his talkie to this .

trump is a vindictive guy.

He is backed into a corner right now. He has no choice but to back off ...Sessions won this by calling the bluff and having Congress back him.

But believe me..he will seethe about it..and you will see it come out again.

Stay tuned..it likely wont take long..before end of year you will see it erupt again.

>>>Translation, Jeff Sessions is about to get the boot.

How is he about to get the boot when this EO was done in February? Did Trump have this planned in February?
