WASHINGTON — President Trump said Wednesday morning, July 26th in a series of tweets that transgender people will not be allowed to serve ‘in any capacity’ in the US military.

When I went in the Air Force in 1962, the barracks next door to us was full of them, all on their way out. Probably half of them were fakers who couldn’t take military life and were willing to accept the stigma of being labeled a homosexual.

Me too. I recall filling out a medical questionnaire during the enlistment process. It listed diseases, illnesses and injuries with yes or no check boxes. One item was "homosexual tendencies".
