Focus on Fusion GPS

Donald Trump Jr., Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort are testifying this week to various congressional committees investigating allegations of Russian influence in last year’s presidential election. These are very high-risk, high-profile events in the Left’s efforts to nullify the election results.

One person who did not lose sleep last night is Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, the left-wing opposition research company that produced the now infamous Trump/Russia dossier.

Simpson was subpoenaed by the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify Wednesday. But his attorney informed committee leaders that Simpson would be “asserting his Fifth Amendment rights,” meaning he won’t answer questions because he might incriminate himself.

This is exactly what Obama administration officials and Clinton campaign operatives did repeatedly. And they got away with it. Here’s why Simpson is so skittish:

His firm is described as an opposition research company, but it looks like a disinformation operation.  

Fusion GPS contracted with former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele, who produced a 35-page dossier on Trump that appears to be a collection of conspiracy theories, popular on far-Left websites.  

Credible people in Washington say there is significant evidence that Steele was fed information by Russian operatives.

During the campaign, the dossier made its way to then-CIA Director John Brennan and other Obama intelligence chiefs. Those Obama political appointees used the dossier to justify phone intercepts of Carter Page, an informal Trump campaign advisor, and others associated with the Trump campaign. That led to the Comey/FBI investigation.  

Even though virtually everything in the dossier has been discredited, there are reports that the FBI, and perhaps even the special counsel, are using the dossier as a “checklist” in the questioning of witnesses.

Further complicating matters are reports that Fusion also worked with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who met with Donald Trump Jr., and lobbied on several issues important to Russia. Now you can see why Fusion’s founder is not interested in testifying before Congress.

 It is also telling that big media, which has been able to learn every jot and tittle of phone conversations that appear to discredit Trump or his appointees, has not chosen to lay out as I just did the highly suspicious circumstances surrounding Fusion GPS.

 I was never shocked that the Russians might be trying to undermine American democracy. They have been doing that for decades. What is beyond belief is that they would have preferred Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.

 My guess is that Russia’s plan involved discrediting either candidate who happened to win, in the hopes of paralyzing America’s constitutional republic. I imagine Vladimir Putin is sitting in his Kremlin office with a bottle of vodka, saluting his good fortune.

“Victor Pinchuk is relentlessly following up (including this morning) about a meeting with WJC in London or anywhere in Europe.”
For those unaware of who Victor Pinchuk is: “In 2015, he was confirmed as the largest individual contributor to the Clinton Foundation He runs a lil’ company called Interpipe in Ukraine which funny enough has dealings with Iran. (Which we all know is the one winning in Iraq.)
From Newsweek:
“Newsweek has seen declarations and documents from Ukraine that show a series of shipments from Interpipe to Iran in 2011 and 2012, including railway parts and products commonly used in the oil and gas sectors.”
The article from Newsweek goes on:
“The US authorities can also penalize non-American companies with no base in the US at all which it judges to be working counter to its foreign policy, as happened to Zhuhai Zhenrong, a Chinese oil company, in 2012. Being denied access to US markets and the US banking system could prove catastrophic to Interpipe, given that accountancy giant Ernst & Young has raised questions over its viability. The person in charge of this list of non-US companies is the Secretary of State, who between 2009 to 2013 – the period during which Pinchuk’s company was trading with Iran – was Hillary Clinton.”
In 2007 Interpipe tried to merger with Russian company TMK- the worlds 3rd largest steel pipe maker. But here’s the thing, Interpipe has been hurting financially since 2004, so as a likely result that 2007 merger with Russia’s TMK didn’t go through. Pinchuk then starts selling to places like Iran a few years later from 2011 to 2012, allowed by Hillary’s State Department, as written about by the Newsweek article linked above.
By this time plans for a pipeline from Qatar to Turkey has been known about for at least two years: “In 2009, Qatar proposed to run a natural gas pipeline through Syria and Turkey to Europe.”
In April 2013 Interpipe signs a deal with Turkey,
Interpipe sold to Iran for a few years (2011-2012) then got major EU player and US-Ally Turkey on board in April and by September 2013 Concorde Capital is reporting that Interpipe is eyeballing Iraq and Libya as markets. Other deals are on the horizon.
But not before things get interesting in Syria:
Then the Syrian War really starts getting crazy just a few short months after the Interpipe deal in Turkey, as The Washington Post reports on September 11, 2013:
“The CIA has begun delivering weapons to rebels in Syria, ending months of delay in lethal aid that had been promised by the Obama administration, according to U.S. officials and Syrian figures. The shipments began streaming into the country over the past two weeks, along with separate deliveries by the State Department of vehicles and other gear — a flow of material that marks a major escalation of the U.S. role in Syria’s civil war.” Link
In January 2014 Jordan signs a deal with Interpipe.
The Clinton’s were going to see to it that the proposed pipeline is built- so long as they’re part of the deal. From an additional Wikileaks email:

The date of that email: 2012-07-21 The same time frame Hillary is Secretary of State and his company is allowed to sell to Iran as reported by Newsweek.
By 2014 his million dollar donation has expanded his operations across the Middle East, now his eyes return home...
The pro-EU/US revolution happens in February 2014, a new interim government is formed, and by April Hunter Biden is hired by Burisma Holdings a Ukrainian company that promotes energy independence from Moscow.
A few months after Biden’s hiring, the Russians actions in Crimea step up a notch. As a result, Interpipe took another massive hit financially in 2014. Remember, Interpipe was hurting real bad until they started selling to places like Iran, Turkey, and Jordan.
“The Russian gas industry once was one of Interpipe’s leading customers, buying up to 44 percent of its products. Now, though, sales have declined due to Russia’s unilateral annexation of Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula and the Russian-backed fighting in eastern Ukraine, leaving Interpipe heavily indebted.”
By December 1st of 2014 Ukraine’s newly DESIGNATED pro-EU/US Prime Minster signs a $180 million dollar pipeline deal with the European Investment Bank. Interpipe is forecast to be the supplier for this deal.
Through these means Interpipe can be the leading supplier for a pipeline that stretches from Qatar to Turkey, supplying Europe with natural gas from the Middle East, and also being the supplier for the reconstruction of Ukraine’s pipelines. Thereby forcing the economic downfall of Russia because 68% of their economy is dependent on oil and natural gas sales.
“Europe, including Turkey, receives most of Russia’s exports of crude oil and products, as well as virtually all exports of natural gas.”
What a dream for Hillary... The decapitation of the Russian economy and sweet pipeline kickbacks from the Middle East. Just at the small cost of a horrific war in Syria and a violent revolution in Ukraine.
But I guess it is just one big coincidence that Victor is a huge donor to the Clinton Foundation and he happens to have all these pipeline deals, riiiiight. But why was he relentlessly trying to get in contact with Bill Clinton? Well, that Newsweek article detailing his ties to the Clinton Foundation was coming out and leaked email #13297 is dated less than 20 days before- Victor Pinchuk was trying to get Bill to stop it, or at the very least warn him.
And of course George Soros has his tentacles in this mess, because...
Like all super rich people Victor Pinchuk has his own foundation, which has some expected partners.

He was second president of Ukraine 1994-2005, which overlaps with Bill Clinton and is, i think, how Pinchuk knows both Clintons. During Ukranian crisis, Kuchma was trying to get in negotiation process taking anti-russian side.”
