I so wanted Rudy Giuliani to be the AG from the very beginning, but was expecting Jeff Sessions to be a force to be reckoned with as well, he isn’t even close.

Last I heard, the DOJ is turning its attention to marijuana issues. Are you kidding me?!

Jeff Sessions hasn’t even fired the corrupt Obama holdover, Andrew McCabe, much less the other Obama holdover, Rod Rosenstein.

He doesn’t seem to grasp the seriousness of the Deep State’s threat to our national security and the President of the United States.

It’s President Trump’s nature to be loyal to those who are loyal to him that propelled Jeff Sessions to the AG position, and his own expectation of his ability.

Since Jeff Sessions is obviously failing to stop the leaks AND prosecuting the leakers, without question, President Trump should fire him, because this is a national security issue.

Personally, I’m more than ready for him to.

***U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is asking for the resignations of 46 United States attorneys who were appointed during prior presidential administrations, the Justice Department said Friday.

Many of the federal prosecutors who were nominated by former president Barack Obama have already left their positions, but the 46 who have remained in the first weeks of the Trump administration have been asked to leave “in order to ensure a uniform transition,” Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said in a statement e-mailed to USA TODAY.
“Until the new U.S. attorneys are confirmed, the dedicated career prosecutors in our U.S. attorney’s offices will continue the great work of the department in investigating, prosecuting and deterring the most violent offenders,” she said in the statement.
In another statement e-mailed to USA TODAY, Justice Department spokesman Peter Carr said President Trump telephoned U.S. attorneys Dana Boente of the Eastern District of Virginia and Rod Rosenstein to say “that he has declined to accept their resignation, and they will remain in their current positions.”***

How quickly we forget. Sessions DID ask for the resignations of ALL 46 Obama appointed attorneys.

Who decided Rod Rosenstein should stay? Oh that’s right, it was President Trump! And who is complaining about him now? Guess he should have taken that resignation after all. Now Trump and many of you want to blame Sessions for Rosenstein still being there when that lies solely at the feet of the President.

You’re welcome.
