Read a couple days ago that he latest brain scan was devastating. We’re only being given partial information here. Very sad of course.
I read on redstate that they made this choice after a us Doctor looked at the scans and records. I suspect this choice to let him pass was based on his opinion.
Big effing deal about the latest brain scan. The constant delays by the hospital and courts cost that baby any chance he might have had. If the parents were FREE to seek treatment for Charlie elsewhere, who knows what the outcome might have been. There are no excuses for the hospital and court actions to remove custody of Charlie from his obviously loving parents. None.
The devastating brain scan was according to the GOSH plan. Charlie’s brain scan in March showed nothing devastating at all. No problem for GOSH; they just had to prevent Charlie from getting treatment in the US until such time as it could no longer help.
They succeeded.
I wish Charlie’s parents would make Charlie’s complete medical record public. If they are are willing and able to do that. If they are willing and unable, I’d like to know that, too. As well as why.
This is the other half of the story. The poor infant has been fully brain dead for some weeks. He is already gone. Even still, it’s cruel to not allow the parents more say so on their baby’s treatment. The One World attitude is to take away almost all authority from the parents. Some schools operate that way in the States already.
