The group of Florida teens who filmed and laughed at a drowning man will face charges for not reporting his death, according to officials.
Authorities initially said there didnt appear to be grounds to prosecute the teens caught on camera mocking 32-year-old Jamel Dunn as he drowned in Cocoa, Florida.

However, Cocoa Police Chief Mike Cantaloupe said Friday that he will seek misdemeanor charges under a statute related to not reporting a death, news station WPLG reported. The recommended charges will be given to the Florida State Attorneys Office, which will determine whether to prosecute the teens.
Cantaloupes announcement comes a day after the horrifying video showing Dunns final moments made headlines.

I couldnt agree more about it is the result of having Fatherhood and mature wise men disregarded from our society. It saddens me greatly to see the lack of honor given to traditional family structure. And how it greatly benefited each and every member. And the Honor of being a supportive and loving wife and mother in a traditional family.
I argue the importance of Fathers often to others. It is tragic how many have not had good Fathers and this is why many are so against the idea of being necessary or even good. They believe they are being insulted if you say a Father is important when they grew up without one. Maybe because they feel they did just fine without one. But they didnt.
Many of the young people I know are desiring and pursuing alternative lifestyles. Trying to fill the void of that empty hole in their lives I believe. And yes, I blame it strongly on not having good Fathers and good Mothers along with modern institutional brainwashing we call schools. I continue to try to explain how much better the traditional structure is to them. But it is frustrating to say the least. So many movies and propaganda working against it.
Very sorry to hear that. Some skills of parenting are mostly what was learned from generations beforehand. I only got one good parent too - a Father. Far from perfect, but did stick around. He as also the result of a single parent family.
We can come from broken families and still see the importance of a strong good family. When I say the best structure a young person could have is both parents, it is with all conditions being the best they can be. Just like you can drive a broken down car and get to where you want to (maybe). But it isn’t the best way to do it and causes a lot of grief trying to get there.
My wife of 38 yrs. came from a really good family and I have told them often how much I envy their family unit ,,, they accepted with open arms and I feel very fortunate to have them now in my life . Lots of good people can have a bad Christmas and they get over it as I have gotten over my abusive father .
I had lots of patience with our two children and I wanted them to love me ,,, not fear me .
I was just reading the stats on children’s religion.
If the father attends church and takes his religion seriously, the majority of children will do the same as adults. If the father cares nothing for religion, something like 2% of the children will practice as adults.
If the mother takes religion seriously, or not, it has virtually no effect on the children. In fact, if the mother doesn’t care about religion, and the father does, the children are MORE likely to practice their religion as adults.
The most insidious and efficient way for Satan and the Left to manufacture atheists is to destroy fatherhood.
“If the mother takes religion seriously, or not, it has virtually no effect on the children.”
Who is the source of those stats??????
.
