Fox News host Tucker Carlson thinks President Trump should worry less about what the New York Times writes and more about whats on the Drudge Report.
Pay less attention to the New York Times and more to Matt Drudge, the Daily Caller co-founder said on his show Thursday night.
Carlsons comments came the day after Trump gave a nearly hour-long interview to the NYT, where the president ripped into Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Carlson chided Trump for that decision, telling him to lay off Jeff

I agree! If I just take a glance at Drudge, I get a feel for what is going on without even reading the first article.
Tucker is right on.
That’s what I’ve been doing for quite some time now.
Yes Tucker is right. ‘Lay off Jeff.’ Lay him off from his job and replace him with a killer.
All well and good Tuck, but you have no idea what’s going on between Trumps ears. Watch and learn boy.
Except Drudge often links to the NY Times and is short on original content. Tucker knows that. That comment was to the base, who believes Matt is a source of news rather his actual role as an agrigator, and not to the President.
Well...I like Tucker, but he didn’t beat Hillary and he didn’t put Gorsuch on the SCOTUS, along with 800 other things he didn’t do.
Better he’d said, read Free Republic, not Drudge, to get a broad view of what’s going on.
Time for Trump to go after the GOP
Nobody cares or should care what boy idiot Tucker has to say.
I check Drudge daily, but you're right, most of his links on what is supposedly news, are linked to liberal rags. You don't know it until you click on them. Thankfully, the bulk of them cut off your viewing if you use an ad blocker, and I refuse to turn my off for the likes of them.
And while I like much of what Tucker says on his show, every once in a while he says something I strongly disagree with. (For example, not long ago he said that Trump should stop tweeting so much. Again, I think the opposite. It is one of his most effective weapons, and much better than trying to depend on the MSM to get his message out, like Bush did.)
Also, some of the unbelievably idiotic guests he digs up are not even worth arguing with, in my opinion.
Regarding the NY Times/Sessions thing, after seeing Sessions' calm, take-it-in-stride reaction to it, I think there is a possibility that it was a preplanned thing with Sessions' full knowledge of it, and it is a step in some kind of plan for Trump to "get his ducks in order" in the most effective way they could think of, before firing Mueller.
What you say would have been true several years ago, before the great purge of 2016. FreeRepublic is now basically for those on the Trump Train.
And there ya go. Hoping someone in the administration does....
Perfect observation. It’s an excellent aggregate but not original content.
I find Drudge slow and not particularly interesting. I know it’s the be all and end all for news, supposedly, but I’ll take Free Republic and Breitbart any day.
I am not sure that Drudge doesn’t have a Never Trumper gene. He links a lot of negative stuff. Anyone else see that?
