Let me restate. I'm not using the Chrome browser, I'm using Slim Jet which is based on the Chrome Blink engine.

I know that Firefox has a setting to disable autoplay. Sure wish Slim Jet had the same.

Interesting that your Chrome browser won't play videos. A blessing in disguise? Are you running the latest version, 59.0.3071?

(no wonder I’m always asked to download Chrome which I do not want)

I Just use IE in 2 different modes plus firefox

That auto play was driving me nuts, especially if I open several windows and then do not know which one has grabbed my speakers!
