I am a Lady Freeper, and know that talented women can fulfill many occupations with excellence and leadership.
That said, let’s accept the that they do not belong in many occupations that require strength, particularly upper body, hormonal stability, and a masculine temperment.
These would include: military combat, police work, firefighting, oil rigs, timber harvesting, some highly complicated and dangerous construction work, and many more occupations requiring brawn, stamina, and male bonding.
To pretend otherwise, just because it is “fashionable and trendy” is ridiculous and socially destructive.
Feminists would argue that because some woman, somewhere, might have the body build and temperament of a professional football player, all women should be given equal opportunity, and if not represented in enough quantity, discrimination must be assumed.
Yes, there are many women who are better shots than many men. That is not enough to qualify them for police work, or for the military.
It is time for us women to fight back against this diversity nonsense, and demand an end to hiring by numbers, colors, religions, and sexual identity!
