Murdoch to Ailes: Tilt the Election to Anyone But Trump – EVEN HILLARY

Rupert Murdoch didn’t want Donald Trump to win the presidential election. According to a longtime friend of the former Fox News CEO, Roger Ailes, Murdoch wanted to tilt the election to any other candidate than Trump, even if it was Hillary!

Ailes passed away in May at the age of 76.

Via The Washington Examiner:

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch wanted to tilt the U.S. presidential election to any candidate but President Trump, according to a longtime friend of former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes.

“Murdoch instructed Ailes to tilt to anyone but Trump, Ailes confided to me before he was fired, even Hillary. (Ailes, for his part, characterized Murdoch’s periodic efforts at interference as similar to Nixon’s instructions to bomb this or that country — best ignored.),” Michael Wolff wrote in a column Thursday, one day before the one-year anniversary of Ailes’ resignation.

The former writer for USA Today and the UK edition of GQ insisted Ailes’ unapologetic support for President Trump ultimately led to his firing by the parent company’s Murdoch family.

“It was Ailes’ tacit support of Trump that, in part, made his removal from Fox all the more urgent for the Murdochs. And it was not just the liberal sons who were agitated by Ailes’ regard for Trump, but also the father, whose tabloid, the New York Post, helped create Trump, but who found him now, with great snobbery, not of ‘our’ conservative class,” Wolff wrote.

TGP previously reported on the ultra liberal Murdoch family after they fired Bill O’Reilly back in April– the top personality on cable news for the past 15 years.

James and Lachlan Murdoch, two committed leftists with perhaps a different vision (or secretly the same) than their father for the FOX News channel.

The new FOX News will not include Bill O’Reilly. In fact, the Murdoch family did not even allow Bill to say good-bye to his friends and millions of fans.

They wiped Bill O’Reilly’s name from “The Factor” on Wednesday night.

In another sign of the direction of the new FOX News the Murdoch family not only dumped Bill, but promoted far left hacks Bob Beckel and Juan Williams. Bob Beckel was subsequently fired for making racist comments to an IT staffer.

Megyn Kelly was also very anti-Trump during the 2016 presidential election. She eventually moved to NBC, however; her ratings are in the tank.

Fox News’ Shepard Smith is also anti-Trump with his most recent statements that the White House keeps getting caught in lie after lie following the report that Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer. Hannity unleashed on Shepard Smith over his anti-Trump comments.

Aren’t there enough anti-Trump news outlets? People go to Fox News to get away from the Trump bashing. If Fox News doesn’t change, they will continue to lose viewership.

Fake News. Murdoch has been good friends with Hillary for a long time. And Fox obviously promoted Trump. Murdoch won either way with Hillary or Trump.

Murdoch’s sons, and their US media roles, went along with Dad’s “anyone but Trump” theme.

Hey, if mudoch wants to beat CNN in a race to the bottom, so be it.

I stopped watching fux news and the clinton/communist news network a long time ago.

I also stopped watching the majority of their parent companies crap too.

The Cheap Labor Express must be kept running.

It is THE most important thing to the powers that be.

The importation of “new Americans” who will outvote real Americans to steal the country is what is at stake.

We need dates my friends. After the election it doesn’t matter. BEFORE Megan Kelly? Something tells me there’s nothing Fox could do. Trump would have won no matter what.

Their loss has just begun. Who among us now watches “Fair and Balanced” Fox news? Raise your hands if it was once the ONLY network worth watching.

Megyn Kelly, with her low ratings; her network now beats Fox in ratings at any given time.

A crack in the window - Murdock’s instructions to Ailes, ignored? Reason for the mysterious death of Ailes?

My only contribution was to the general political direction of the Murdoch family.

It was very evident after they bought Dow Jones and acquired the Wall Street Journal.

The front page and main page “reports” took a noticeable Leftward tilt, that had been descending ever since. The previous owners retained editorial control of the Opinion page at the WSJ, so the Murdochs established a couple of “columns” in the main section to editorialize the news themselves.

Their political tilt was not left to just the main section. The other sections have received their editorial bent on issues like “wage inequality”, “diversity”, climate change, and shilling for Elon Musk, Google and other arrogant technologists.

With Ailes in charge at Fox, it just took the Murdochs longer to expose their harsh Left hand there.

I do.

I try to catch Martha, Tucker and sometimes Sean fairly often.

Several others on the net that I like.

FNC was making a Billion dollar profit a year and these lib morons are going to wreck it!

Great opening for a new start-up right wing network. imo

Confirmed: Heads of TV news organizations actively try to influence the outcome of elections.

Finally someone admitted it.

I am just waiting for a bunch of actual conservatives/libertarians to form a new network - and this means that people like Hannity and Carlson will need to leave and join this new network. Fox used to actually be fair and balanced...and now, like an aging woman well past her prime, it is relying on its past reputation and lots of make-up to play at being what it once was - but few are actually fooled, certainly not for long.

The Leftists want Fox? Take it...we’ll move on to something better, something without Juan Williams, Shep, Geraldo and the rest of the Leftist jerks hired by Fox to turn it. We viewers aren’t fooled. Time to hit back at the Murdoch family where it hurts the most - in its wallet.

Except for Hannity depending on his guest, occasionally Carlson and Fox and Friends, I refuse to leave FNC on the tv. They were heading left the last several years and with the Murdoch pajama boys they have veered hard left.

FNC is essentially PMSNBC with a red, white and blue screen graphics and some nice T&A.

We all knew something weird was going on with Fox News back during the election. This news is no surprise.

The US MSM has been pretty much completely taken over by the leftist socialist democrats.

All of the “news” is now mostly leftist socialist propaganda. The socialist-democrats own virtually all of the media outlets, including online, TV, film, radio, and print.

The only thing stopping them is the threat of them going too far, and citizens going open season on their “journalists” and attacking their physical infrastructure.

A backhoe digging along the railroad tracks can take out an entire region of communications.

Don’t piss off the people who built your data infrastructure.

We built it, we know where it’s at, and we can send all of your asses back to the 19th century faster than you can type a response.

“Their political tilt was not left to just the main section. The other sections have received their editorial bent on issues like “wage inequality”, “diversity”, climate change, and shilling for Elon Musk, Google and other arrogant technologists.”

makes it that much easier to eschew a print subscription at the ridiculous price $468.00/year.

How did Murdock win with either Trump or Hillary.

I believe Fox was VERY anti-Trump during the primary—with Kelly and the outrageous 24/7 PROMOTION of first Rubio and then Cruz—

I couldn’t disagree more. They portrayed the image that Trump’s campaign wanted. They gave him so much attention and took out everyone else.
