Perhaps Sessions has a history of boldness against non Deep State types. But I've yet to see evidence that the same applies against Deep State corruption. Perhaps we could see that as time goes on. BUT, the recusal is indeed a timid move that doesn't give me confidence.

You apparently have the attention span and comprehension of small child. Because Sessions, after being in the DOJ for a few months, with a crap FBI head, hasn’t arrested a whole bunch of gov wrong doers, you think he’s feeble.

And of course I didn't say that Sessions is feeble. I called his recusal move a timid move.

You apparently have a reading comprehension problem, or does your impairment extend to all intellectual functions.

Particularly when we’ve got opioids, and related pharmaceutical drugs as a leading cause of death in the very demographics and regions that voted for Trump, and Sessions is out promoting DARE programs. DARE isn’t remotely relevant to the modern problems of opioid addiction. In fact, many opioid addicts today participated in DARE programs when they were in elementary school.
So far Sessions has missed the boat on what needs to be done to combat drug addiction and deaths in the USA.
...
I have no problem going after options and pharma...after all, they heavily funded the Pubbies who are stopping trump on obamacare...I’d also like to see CARA Therapeutics get their pot based pain killers fda approved...

If I could be convinced that the strictures of his CAF plans were so tight that literally ONLY the opioid cartels would be snagged up, I could get behind it.

Your opinion is wrong, it’s simple.

Hired or volunteer is my only doubt in this matter.

Too early to determine who will be right or wrong while in the midst of the storms in DC.....as in any fog of war the dust hasn’t settled and won’t for some time...but we will see changes in leadership along the way as this war has fierce and intense battles... few have dared to fight in Washington before....most are more than rusty.....and those who aren’t will burn out faster than the average.

I’m very optimistic as what has been done so far certainly surpasses anything in the past......the streams of illegals have dropped further than any years prior.....the M-S gangs and bad guys are being taken out.....so just getting rid of those who drain our economy and fill our prisons is a huge plus for getting a base to work at law and order.

Our Military guys are finally rejoicing they can do their jobs as well as our police officials.....they can do what the law gives them the right to do instead of politicians preventing them from doing their jobs.

This in itself is just one of the ‘first waves’ happening.....and I am very grateful it is so as without some form of law and order nothing else will be resolved and all the corruption will continue....by stopping the ‘routes’ you stop that trade .

He was a bumbling fool. He didn’t know how to speak in public, nor did he know how to handle the vicious liberal press.

True that in everything you said. I voted for Trump very reluctantly (I still don't think he is a conservative), but I love his court picks and illegal immigration is down. I want him to keep his eye on the ball, not picking stupid twitter fights with Mika. But that is considered "naive" by other FReepers...

FR Regards

Sessions is hostile to the POTUS.

I don't see that in any way, shape, or form. What I see is a man who, being an early and staunch Trump supporter, wound up accepting a position in the new administration that he was constitutionally unprepared for.

Sessions really should have known his personal limitations, and politely declined the offer to serve as AG. Now he's made a mess of it, and needs to go, before he does any more damage.

BINGO! Great post.

Frankly, who of us hasn’t been squirming with the lack of mastery over those White House press conferences? I like Sean very much, but he is perfectly described when linked with the old school milquetoast Establishment approach to the stinking press.

Apparently, Scarramucci can float his own boat and has earned a little gravitas, on his own merit, something Spicer has not quite perfected, and for which the rookie Huckabee can only hope. ZZZzzzzz.

Done a great job. Blitzkreiged the media to open up the battle lines for Trump.

Thank you Mr. Spicer!

At this time, Scaramucci’s views on guns does not worry me. This was said right after Sandy Hook. People said a lot of things. Something to keep up with, though. I still standby my opinion that Spicer and Preibus were brought in to appease RINOS.
