The threat of an expanding special counsel investigation into President Trump’s finances has rattled his conservative base with fears that the New York billionaire could be brought down by shady business deals — not collusion with Russia.
Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller has widened the scope of the Russia investigation to include Mr. Trump’s business deals, according to a Bloomberg News report.
The president had warned that such a move would cross a line.
“Those transactions are in my view well beyond the mandate of the special counsel, are unrelated to the election of 2016 or any alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and most importantly, are well beyond any statute of limitation imposed by the United States Code,” said John Dowd, Mr. Trump’s private attorney.
Moving the investigation into deals going back more than a decade also irked Mr. Trump’s staunchest supporters, though they remain convinced that there was never collusion with Russia and that the special counsel is part of an open conspiracy to remove the president.

If there was ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING in his financial records that could have been deemed bad the Clintons would have found it..who do you think orchestrated the release of the Access Hollywood tape at “Just the right time” the Clintons and NBC, they held onto that thing til mid October for shock value..The Clintons are good at digging up dirt(And giving people dirt naps) so if there was anything that could have brought down Trump they would have released it BEFORE the election

Sessions moved to Immigration AG. Trump simply says Sessions obviously ‘recused’ himself from AG position.
Trump’s lawyer suggests an AG replacement. Acting AG fills in until replacement.

There are so many laws and regulations that most of us could be put in jail by the IRS , etc. for some technicality real , manufactured or invented.
Most of this federal government in unconstitutional yet judges have somehow interpreted this government to be constitutional according the Law .
Meuller and democrats can find some judges that will interpret Trump committed several crimes . That this debacle has gone on this long is ridiculous. Fire Meulller now.

I believe the Trump team has been laying the groundwork to get the special counsel either fired for cause, or dismissed for exceeding his statutory authority.
The Russian lawyer story isn’t sticking so they’re flinging more poo to see if that’ll stick.
As I see it, the Clintons and Obama don't exactly like each other, but they have somewhat of a pact... with a Mutually Assured Destruction sort of way to enforce their "relationship". Obama HAD to insure Hillary won the election because she would surely keep all his secrets (crimes) hidden from view. In return, he's been keeping her dirty secrets as quiet as possible.
Trump winning was their worst nightmare... not because of his policies so much, but because he's an outsider and they couldn't trust him to "honor" the tradition of not digging up dirt/crimes from a past president (or SOS) and acting on them.
Most of the politicians feared Trump for the same reason. McCain helped Obama set the stage for the FISA warrants to snoop on Trump's transition team. That's what the "dossier" was meant to do. Obama used that to justify spying on Trump's incoming team... using the FBI, NSA and CIA... probably the IRS too.
Its an absolute miracle, given the powers of our government, that all this force couldn't stop Trump from actually taking office.
They're all still fighting to try and prevent Trump from getting full control of the government, but slowly but surely he's inching forward. Soon, hopefully, he'll finally get his man in at the FBI... a key step to finally opening up the Pandora's box of stalled investigations. Getting the corrupt top layer of management out of the FBI will be a pivotal point in his presidency... things should start to get really interesting when that happens.
