That is a good point. It is my understanding that this special counsel was set up only to investigate on whether if Trump and Russia colluded in the election. Going into Trump’s business dealings is above and beyond this. Mueller was not given the authority to expand the investigation to anything he wants to.
Mueller, who has multiple conflicts of interest, and is leaking information, has to be halted and fired now. This is becoming a witch hunt, period.
