I completely disagree that JM loves this country! What actions has he ever taken that show he loves this nation? He served in the military? Nope. That was just a stepping stone to where he’s at today. Votes conservative? Nope. He should have switched sides early on as he could always be counted on to be a thorn in the side of the GOP. I truly believe he intentionally blew the 2008 election to usher in the age of craziness that was Obama & Co.
I have ZERO respect for the man. He’s a liar and a traitor to this country. The Vietnamese did us a HUGE disservice by sending him home.
That said......my hopes are he goes painlessly but swift.
When McCain was captured as a young man he was offered a chance to be released because of his father’s rank. He chose to stay with his men in the Hanoi Hilton... I don’t agree with McCain’s politics either but within his world view he loves his country - and he’s been a caring and loving father... I’m ready to give him a pass and be grateful for his service.
If he beats brain cancer (God willing) then we can go back to attacking his stupid political positions. Until then, really it’s time for the pass...
