Terrible diagnosis. I think we’re past politics at this point. Time to pray for Mr. McCain’s soul.
It’s a new primary tumor, not related to Melanoma. Its a glioblastoma. They are characteristically multicentric at the time of diagnosis so there is a high likelihood of other areas that are too small to detect as yet.

Wikipedia has July 18 as the date of death, but she probably died sometime between 4-6 am on July 19. Ted and Mary Jo left the party at a house on Chappaquiddick Island around 11:15 pm on the 18th, and within 5 minutes of that Ted turned right toward the ocean rather than left toward the Edgartown ferry, and drove his Oldsmobile off the bridge and into the pond. It is said that Mary Jo did not drown immediately, but rather survived in an air bubble for a few hours.
I’ve heard that she tried to gouge her way through the back seat with her fingernails to reach the trunk.
If the Chap Acquitted had taken the time to roll down her window, the pressure would have equalized and they would have been able to open the door on her side and escape. He left her to die.

I don't think McCain has those kinds of bones. I don't know that he ever did. Hope he proves me wrong.
