Delta Airlines has fired back at Ann Coulter — revealing on Twitter how her two-day temper tantrum was over a measly $30.

“Additionally, your insults about our other customers and employees are unacceptable and unnecessary,” it said, in response to Coulter’s weekend-long Twitter rant.

Without a doubt. Ann Coulter's status as a take-no-prisoners conservative makes her a risk-free target for Delta. They'd never dare deliver a snotty response to a prominent lib.

With that said, is there a more boring, overdone social-media genre than the 'Attention, world, I'm flying on {insert airline here} and it sucks' genre of twitter, instagram, facebook? Of course, whatever airline you're on sucks. They all do. Commercial airline travel is a miserable experience but if you want go somewhere far fast for a relatively small amount of money, it's the only game in town.

No. She was not “made whole.” She was forced to sit in a seat with less access room for a long flight. She was inconvenienced. She was not given an explanation from the crew. She was the victim of a bait and switch. It’s not about measly $30 and you know it.

I’m wondering when LiveNation is going to start doing this with concert seats. You THINK you’ve bought your seat but when you get to the civic arena, they’ve gotten a better offer from a later buyer who gets your 4th row seat and you get moved to the balcony. Hey, you’ll get a refund on the price difference between what you paid and what your new seat lists for.

And don’t try scalping your plane ticket. You are not authorized to do that! That’s why we’ve had to present IDs to get on planes since the 1980s. Certainly didn’t stop the 9-11 hijackers and with California and other states knowingly issuing drivers licenses to foreigners with fake names, it certainly isn’t about “Security”.

4chan should look into the background of the black stewardess. See if she is a registered democrat, campaign contributions and social media posts. 10-1 odds this was racially and politically motivated.

I have had bad experiences with Delta also. Glad Ann C. is not just accepting it.

It’s about protecting the right of the airlines to overbook the flights and if you sell off your return ticket (because roundtrips at least once upon a time could possibly be cheaper than a single fare one way) then they are less likely to have open seats.

Now the airlines just kick you off and take the higher fare and “screw you”.
