#39: "He has been fighting Congress to fund"

I know, I know. If only the Republicans controlled the houses of congress just think what might be accomplished!

The media knows the key to permanent damage to trump is portraying him as lying to us.

The title here lacks context and is meant to anger people.

The GOPe wants President Trump to fail.
It will be a surprise if he gets the money to build a border wall.

Sorry I didn’t explain it more fully...just wanted to drop in a comment.

My point is this: since Trump has acknowledged a 2000 mile wall is not necessarily what he means by “build a wall” because of natural barriers, etc., for the LA SLIMES to pretend this is new information is ridiculous.

This is just like a few weeks ago when it was announced 600 or so Carrier employees were going to be let go. The media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) tried to make it like Trump’s job saving deal didn’t work out. But a careful examination of the deal when it was announced last year shows that those jobs were indeed going to go, but many more would be saved.

Fake news in this sense meant it was old news being recycled.

The level of legal immigration is way to high. We need to cut all immigration to the bone. I.e. to zero.

"Where there is no wall is where they will go.

Wherever crossing access is safest for them is where they will go, wall or no wall.

"No matter how far out of they way that is where the dope smugglers and coyotes will cross."

And when those areas are identified, security will be improved. The idea of a "build it once and done all wall fix" will never hap by appropriate barriers. And it needs to happen in that order.

From 2/9/2016. For the record, everyone knows what a disingenuous lying slimeball you are and we know the games you and your friends play.

The ones that come here legally are great, and usually assimilate and love America.

Speak for yourself. Legal Muslim immigrants have generally been a disaster and haven't assimilated.

“I recall Trump saying he would build a wall across the entire Mexican border.”

OK.

“Can someone give me the exact date when Trump first informed 2016 voters that he was not going to build a wall across the entire border?”

You first.

LOL...every few weeks they throw headlines out like this thinking that those on board with Trump will get pissed off and jump ship. I never expected “The Great Wall of Trump” stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific. Just common sense.

A a “steel wall” with “openings”? Sorry but that’s a fence, not a WALL.

>>>Male Bovine Scat...prove it<<<

I’m not about to review every one of Trump’s Interviews and Rally Speeches during the Campaign. He has talked about Natural Boundaries many times.

If this is news to you, you haven’t been paying attention.

>>>He has been fighting Congress to fund his BORDER WALL not his piece of border wall<<<

Yes he has, but again with exceptions as to where a physical structure is not needed (in his opinion) and other security methods are deployed instead.

Please note, I’m not saying that I agree with him on this. I want a big beautiful Wall, the bigger and more beautiful the better. #;^)

Nope.

It’s got to be a brand new 100 feet in a brand new location!

I’m really super cereal about this.

If he tears down an existing 100 feet and replaces it, I’m counting it as zero, I will be pissed, and I’m holding the GOP accountable for it. Not him, but them.

But on the serious side, I am getting pissed. Stop talking about it. I don’t want to hear the wall will get built any more. Not even once.

Start building it. Now. Do some damage. Quit playing defense.

They aren’t going to give you one damned second, so go to war against them.

They do not want your wall, so give them the biggest ***damned wall they ever saw.

Thank you for referencing that article iowamark. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

”… significantly scaled back the pledge [??? emphasis added] Thursday."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Trump had clarified on the campaign trail, long before he was elected, that the wall would take advantage of natural borders.

"I'm taking price per square foot and price per square, you know, per mile, and it's a very simple calculation," Trump said, noting that he would need to erect about 1,000 miles of border wall along the 2,000-mile long border because of natural barriers along certain parts [emphasis added]." — Trump: Border wall will cost $8 billion February 9, 2016.

Re: “You first.”

I have no idea what that means.

As far as I know, Trump campaigned all the way to election day on the promise to build a wall across the entire Mexican border.

Now, multiple Comments on this thread claim that Trump retracted that promise before election day.

If you, or anyone else, can verify Trump’s pre-election retraction, I would like to read it.

Rivers don’t stop people from trying to cross the border, and neither do mountains or hills, which is why a wall is necessary.
