As the American public gets to know First Lady Melania Trump her popularity has almost doubled — from 28 percent one year ago to 51 percent in a Fox News poll. The poll also shows that Trump is more popular than First Lady Hillary Clinton around this time during her tenure in the White House when Clinton’s approval rating was at 49 percent.
The First Lady enjoys a surge in favorability across the board; Republicans (+24), Democrats (+12), men (+17), women (+15), voters under age 45 (+18) and ages 45 and over (+16) all view her more positively than a year ago.
More men (55 percent) than women (48 percent) have a favorable opinion of Trump, according to the poll.
Also, Republicans (82 percent) are more than three times more likely than Democrats (26 percent) to have a positive view of Trump, while 43 percent of independents like her.

I like Melania. She’s an excellent First Lady. She handles herself well. She is self assured without being an ass about it. She represents the nation well. She’s a positive person. She knows a number of languages. When she’s out of the country, folks like her a lot. We’re fortunate to have her.
No matter what others think of her, she won’t be doing the following.
She won’t run for president in 16 years and trash anyone who thinks she shouldn’t.
She won’t be hiring a team of people to destroy women who have accused her husband of sexual abuse.
She won’t be laughing about some early teen girl who was raped, after she got her rapist off on all the charges.
She won’t have over 1000 FBI files on private U.S. Citizens delivered to the White House.
She won’t refuse to turn over documents, when investigations come, then have one such document show up out of the blue in a prominent place in the White House months to years later.
She won’t even be the target of an investigation, although with today’s democrats you can never be totally sure of that.
She won’t be setting up a Trump Foundation so foreign and domestic entities can fill it with petty cash for her.
She won’t have a private server with top secret information on it, then refuse to let the FBI look at it.
She won’t participate in the abandonment of our ambassador on foreign shores, costing him and his staff member’s deaths.
She won’t do anything to hinder efforts to stop child trafficking.
She won’t make comments about never respecting this nation until her mousy husband got elected. For one, her husband isn’t mousy, and she truly loves this nation.
She won’t try to tell Americans what they can and can’t eat or drink.
She’ll leave our children alone.
Hillary, Michelle, you two should be ashamed. We are.
Not one kid will be videoed singing Hitlarian chants for her husband.
We’d think it disgusting, and so would he.
