They claimed the moral high ground when they were against violence, and now they claim the moral high ground when they advocate violence.

That’s what neo-communists do. Cause civil unrest. Destabilize the civil order, hopefully leading to the masses rising up against their “oppressors”. This opens the way for the left to take over during the confusion and begin a new world order, inspired by the principles of marxism.

It has been a century since the Anarchists had a victory (Sarajevo assassination which resulted in WW I). They need to feed their blood-lust by starting another war & killing millions of people.
Add this to prosecuting individual criminal acts, and a lot of ANTIFA could end up in federal or state prison for extended stays.

There is no such thing as a peaceful leftist protest.
Any demonstration which did not involve attacks on police, property destruction or assault on people they disagree with; would be considered a failure by the leftist organizers.
When they have their planning meetings for a “peaceful” demonstration, their is never an effort to pressure or persuade the parties who are violence prone, to act in a peaceful manner.
The whole purpose of the protest is to generate publicity. The violence is essential to the publicity thus the organizers,while talking about “peaceful protest” behind the scenes are doing everything in their power to insure violence.
Further proof of their bad will is that they always seek to deploy leftist lawyers, whose sole purpose is to defend violent rioters. A peaceful demonstration does not need lawyers

I’m surprised it hasn’t started yet. I suppose the factor that goes furthest to explain the lack of retaliation so far is that the left only misbehaves in areas sympathetic to their worldview and under the watchful eyes of a complicit politicized police force.
