I was recently reading a biography of a British woman who became a very fine historian. The story was told that at some point in about 1918 the head of a girls’ school made an announcement —
“I have sad news, ladies. You will not be getting married. At least, very few of you will be. The men you were to marry have all died in the trenches. Now you must prepare yourselves to have careers, because there is no other option for you.”
I love how feminists have to keep telling us how smart and educated they are.

I may get bashed but so be it. Just want to say, some of these women are just so picky, so overly selective about men, that they end up rejecting many fine men.
Why do these women cited here, lament the alleged shortage of men with college degrees or advanced degrees for their potential mates?? Where is it written, that a woman with a master’s degree needs a man with an equivalent education?
I don’t think men are so quick to reject someone right off the bat, for not meeting some long list of criteria that a potential mate needs to have.
So the women would rather not have a man in their lives, rather be alone??
No, its an oversupply of damaged, nasty, unwifely women. Ones who think they are far better catches than they actually are.
And also totally entitled to marry up. Guys marty lower women and we deal with it. Women will not, they all think they deserve to marry up. Its called hypergamy. Its why when no fault divorce was introduced women could now bail on the marriage contract and keep looking for a better guy, then eventually get bored with him, and then divorce him for more cash and prizes. Up to 18 years if they had kids.

The amount of drama and carping and the increasing lack of sex that goes to zero after a few years of marriage, and the amount of money and accumulated wealth the guy spends on her and can lose in divorce, which is very common to occur, versus the actual amount of times he gets to have sex with his wife and enjoy her,

What man in their right mind wants a brainwashed, indoctrinated liberal hag? That’s all “education” does. Most of these “degrees” are in useless liberal arts disciplines that do not prepare the woman to do anything productive in the world. Many men prefer an “uneducated” woman who can raise a child, shoot a gun, change a tire, and fear the Lord.

Educated? I find more educated females at the local welfare office. The usual way produces children much more efficiently and often for free.
