The president tweeted the video out Sunday morning.
The video that President Donald Trump tweeted out early Sunday showing him bodyslamming a man whose face was obscured by the CNN logo appears to have come from a user on Reddit.
A user with the handle "HanA##holeSolo" said that he/she originally posted the gif on Reddit.
"Holy ####!! I wake up and have my morning coffee and who retweets my ####post but the MAGA EMPORER himself!!!" the user commented.

The one that the president tweeted was tweaked slightly to include the words "FNN: Fraud News Network." The video appears to be a doctored version of Trump's 2007 appearance on World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. The 28-second clip was posted on Trump's official Twitter account, with the message: "#FraudNewsCNN #FNN."

The president stayed on the attack later in the day, stating on Twitter that "the dishonest media will NEVER keep us from accomplishing our objectives on behalf of our GREAT AMERICAN PEOPLE!"
Many in the media reacted with outrage. CNN said the tweet "encourages violence against reporters," adding: "We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his."
Bruce Brown, executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, condemned the video as a "threat of physical violence against journalists." He said Trump's tweet was "beneath the office of the presidency."
A White House aide insisted the tweet should not send a chill across the media landscape.
"I think that no one would perceive that as a threat," said homeland security adviser Tom Bossert. "I hope they don't. But I do think that he's beaten up in a way on cable platforms that he has a right to respond to."
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
No doubt millions of viewers thought the TRUMP CNN Bodyslam Video was the feel good TWEET of the day.
CNN all pissy about the company logo getting slammed, but doesn’t care about the depictions of mortal harm against POTUS.
CNN can go to Hell. And so can AT&T if it doesn’t fix the problem.
Verizon has great coverage.
That is hilarious! The only ones committing violence are those on the left. And they have been ever since the election.

All I can say is: MESSAGE RECEIVED, Mr
President. No need to be more obvious. We know what the assignment is.
The hilarious World Wrestling Trump knockdown on FNN was classic Alinsky: 5. Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. There is no defense. Its irrational. Its infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. In winning the war against the Left, emotions and mockery are often just as effective as reason.
What makes me wonder is why have my fellow FReepers failed to get this stuff down?
I sense it will be an important video because the reactions on both sides of the aisle seem to be very powerful. Of course, Our side couldn’t be happier, but the dark siders are demoralized by it.
It really triggered the msm.
And in my research to post an article about the reddit user who made the gif, there are at least 10 articles already about him. That’s more attention than Buckhead ever received for his Dan Rather post.
Something different is going on as a result of this video.
The mainstream media hits Trump with lies, hatred, and condescension every day. When he hits them with a humorous tweet they act like an abused child crying for mama.
Isn’t ATT grumbling about CNNs top guy?
The GIF seen around the world.
Dims...lefties...assorted dictators all hiding in their safe spaces.
MSM just doesn’t like having their crap handed back to them.
Does CNN have an annual charity baseball game?
My newest quip is a riff on that old saying “da Nile is not just a river in Egypt”:
Projection is not something that only happens in a movie theater. :)
Well there was time here not too long ago where many supported a candidate whose motto was "Tone matters." And this candidate directed that criticism against Trump and his supporters.
So glad we scared off most of those cucks.
Nah. Those homos would prefer to play games that involve teabags.
They’re all melting down over at Yahoo’s Fake News.
Do they mention that it’s now PLAINLY OBVIOUS, once again, that CNN lied to them?
No. They’re not smart enough to figure that one out. Nor can they figure out Obama, Hillary, nor the rest of the liberal MSM.
Totally hilarious.
Haha, next time someone will use the “FNN” logo and see how they like that!
Just for grins I checked, and yes, www.fnn.com is already registered ;-(
